Well, he is definitely somebody. Really liked his style too. Went as far as to have my own custom made bass (with close strings too) just to know what makes him tick. It wasn't enough 😅 But it's my all time favorite bass (I got three - each one totally different than the other). Even the guy who made it liked it.

That's pretty damn close. However, like others have said, Geezer actually used dead roundwound strings so you don't actually have to buy a set of Flatwounds. Rolling your tone knob back a little will get you in the neighborhood as well. Also, he basically played through a guitar amp pushed to its limit on the first two (maybe three) albums. Giving him that growly, midrange heavy sound. But I think playing heavy, like you demonstrated, over the fingerboard is crucial to his sound.
