I had this same problem where it was leaking from these ports. The top housing is entirely removable, and you can remove it all the way and plug the hole like the bottom so it’s not leaking from behind the housing

There is a one way valve on the bottom hose and it can break. Dont plug that off.

Can’t get the screw out of the top piece. Now it’s stripped. Do we know the function of this top piece or can I just wreck it and patch the hole with JB Weld?

This is a life saver I was just fixing to drag the ol thing to the road but was holding out hope and here it is. Thank you for this video! To those asking about the water in the walls I had to open all the drains, the one on the botttom, and flip the jacuzzi a couple times and step the water out of it. Finally got basically all of the water out.

So I did what you did but the top one is still leaking air from behind the valve. Is there a way to fill it in behind the hole. Is that what you had to do or no?

Thanks for the fix! I plugged the top and bottom holes but found it was leaking around the outside of the upper “vent”. I put some Marine JB weld into a syringe and pumped it around the perimeter, no more leaks 👍

What is the function of the vent-looking part on top? I'm about to undertake this fix, but I don't want to plug up something that might be important... From the location, my guess is that it's an overflow drain. And... thanks for posting this!

Thank you for the instruction! I will fix this today. I had trouble getting the water out of the walls until reading comment replies and understanding that the air valve can be completely removed by unscrewing the second ring.

We will get a few more months out of our spa thanks to your video. I took that cover off and stuffed the hole good and full of muffler weld. All's well now.

I had the same leak from that top hole. You could hear the air coming from it when drained. Today I plugged it w JD Weld and shaved the stem down. Tomorrow I will blow it up and test the leak. I didnt do anything to the bottem hole. 🤞

So after you did this an filled it up did it stay inflated..an the filter system worked fine ?

Just did this repair. Used JB WaterWeld. Note: that top plastic piece is removable. After removing the screw, just wiggle it out of the hole and patch it like the bottom hole. Image here: i.postimg.cc/Rh75JFxc/IMG-2211.jpg

What was the best way to drain the walls after water got in? Planning on sealing but want to drain first.

Add my name to the list… same story, walked out one morning and was collapsing. Didn’t realize the walls were filled with water until I drained the tub and still couldn’t lift it. This video was very helpful. Draining the walls now and hopefully can implement your fix. Thanks!

What are the purpose of those holes if they can be sealed ? I dont understand why they make them if we can eliminate them ?

I just had to do the exact same thing to my hot tub. Unfortunately the instructions don't say anything about horse play in the hot tub I think that's what damaged ours🫣 we've had ours up 24/7 for almost 3 years now. If I can make it through one more Montana winner I feel that I would have gotten my money's worth. Unfortunately I watched your video a day late but we both came to the same conclusion. I just did the same fix. Thx. Only thing i will add is, mine kept leaking from the upper thingy. I pulled it straight out and filled the hole behind it with a water proofing "kerdi fix" and pushed the cover thingy back on.. still not sure what the function of the upper thingy is. But it aint gonna fo anything anymore.. cheers

Is it possible that I inflated my spa to fast and screwed up the inside? Mine seems to be leaking air from behind the filter. It will not inflate. Any folks out there have this problem? Or any idea if it's fixable.

I just put JB Weld in these two locations and it seems to still be letting out air slowly. Can not find a hole anywhere!? Any other suggestions?
