Same here. This is bogus. I literally wrote a brand new blog article and have not posted it anywhere until I posted it on Alignable and they denied it. Twice now. The same type articles have been ok for like two years.

Hi There, It is true that things in the past may have been ok that are not now. We now have the capabilities to review more posts and take action on these posts in ways that were not previously possible. This new way of reviewing posts has cut down significantly on spam and irrelevant content in groups. The feedback we are getting on the outcomes is positive and people getting interaction on their posts is going up. We are sorry that you are not able to post everything you used to, but we want to keep the content on the platform relevant to the group it is posted in, and keep promotions and solicitations only to the people in your network, and not communities or groups.

My posts are not spam. They are relevant blog articles. In fact, I had never posted it anywhere else until I put it on your platform. And as per normal your community managers never respond. I guess I'll just cancel my membership which wasn't cheap. By the way, why should I pay for a membership? So I can reach people by asking generic questions that are meaningless?

Ads, promotional content, and contact information are never allowed in our forums However, I understand your point about accessibility features like closed captioning and your need to schedule posts. I encourage everyone to funnel traffic to platforms that allow VIDEO introduction and no extreme compliancy AI robot that will hide posts. Not to forget only half of the Hosts actually conduct meetings. I scheduled time out of my day to be at the several events and the Host doesn't even update or reschedule. Obnoxiously rude for any paying member. Stay FREE everyone!

This group is for those in the music industry to collaborate, not for music lovers sharing music. Remember, Alignable is all about making connections and promoting dialogue. So consider asking questions to start a conversation versus just posting your new music in the group.

My posts are being unfairly flagged for "self promotion" in the Music Group I belong to, while all the other members AND administrators are blatantly posting about their new CD recordings, live shows, and "self promoting" themselves. I have tried to word my posts as requested by Alignable, asking people questions to engage them, and my posts are STILL flagged. I have been a member of Alignable for years. and use the site to interact with other classical music lovers, orchestras, musicians, and conductors, which is a tough task. Part of this interaction and "collaboration" is sharing posts of my music compositions and performances. THIS is how I "connect" with others in my classical music field, and often receive interest for live performances of my music by orchestras and musicians. If you and Alignable don't understand this, then you have a VERY narrow view of what business is all about.

First off, I want to say how much we appreciate your commitment to providing value and education to your network. It’s passion like yours that makes Alignable a great place for local businesses to grow, learn, and connect. One of the unique aspects of Alignable is indeed the focus on active, two-sided dialogue. Our community thrives on questions and discussions that spark engagement. However, this doesn't mean educational posts are unwelcome! They're in fact extremely valuable, and it may be about finding the right balance and approach. You must remember though that adding a CTA to the education that revolves around contacting you, or a promotion such as 20% off my services immediately move the post from education to promotional. Also be mindful of the audience you are posting the education to. If you are posting how important SEO is to your business in the marketers group, it isn't helpful as they already know. One potential solution could be to frame your educational content as part of a larger discussion. Often, the most engaging discussions start with a question or a prompt for input. By adding elements that invite responses or thoughts from your connections, your educational content can indeed spark amazing conversations!

What they are asking for is goofy. People want articles and good information. They need to change this or I will cancel my membership.

Alignable are hypocrites because while telling you this idea of relationship marketing is much more relevant and successful than the traditional method, Alignable uses the traditional method themselves to market themselves to you. Including spam emails every day telling you that this time for sure is the last chance you have to advertise in Alignable’s area news letter. Finally what’s with the shady practice of essentially charging me for the amount of attempts I have to connect with other accounts only to find that Alignable is littered with dead accounts that I’ve wasted connection attempts trying to connect with.

Hi There, You are only able to join Alignable if you are physically located in the US or Canada AND your business must be registered and licensed in the US or Canada as well. We hope to expand to other countries in the future.

That is up to the business itself. At Alignable the business owns the profile rather than the person. One person could create the profile and add the other as a team member so they can use the profile in tandem vs 2 separate accounts which could confuse your customers.
