I wouldn't own a SPECTRUM Radio their Crap the have Binding issues and if it needs 3 receivers (Satalights) is surlly CRAP. I bought Aurora 9X - 9 Channel 2.4GHz Aircraft Computer Radio 25 years ago because they had a reliable system and Telemitary. Granted it wasn't built in but it worked. GPS was mostly what I was concerned about Ground speed distance and Altitude. all there 25 years ago.

I have both but have never used the Spektrum. There is nothing to like about Spektrum the product, the support, the price, the marketing etc. The TX16S is the opposite and I have 2, both fitted with the extra push buttons on the back. I run Open TX having dowgraded from Edge as I'm more used to it.

Yeah I live on Long Island and Its hard to do FPV here every freaking park comes up with BS lies saying you can fly here because of X reason and I shut them all down and keep flying until police arrive (only one time that happen) but this one place was at least honest and said we understand the laws but we just do not want to have a risk of a crash in the park with people walking around and I said OK at least you were honest, thats it just be fucking honest and I wont fly my drone near you

Rudder input works like a charm, but the left side starts glitching the moment the other motor runs up, throttle up keeps the glitch going, until the individual channel value is higher than the other motor's, and the glitch starts again after they match.... Using a separate battery for receiver and dshot1200 esc's

Thanks but when you say that you have set a switch for channel 6 as FLIGHT MODE do you mean that that channel switch is for the AS3X stabilization mode? Therefore channel 5 switch is for PANIC mode and channel 6 is for AS3X stabilization mode.

Thank you, this seems to have worked for me with a Radiomaster Zorro running EdgeTX. The only 2 quirks are 1) the lights don't change on the receiver when switching flight modes like they do when using a Spektrum radio (blue/red/purple), and 2) when I switch from one of the self level flight modes to no bank angle limit (AS3X only) it takes about a second to register the change, but seems to work ok apart from that. I haven't test flown it yet but it seems to work on the bench.

I used to fly at a county park and got stopped by a park ranger. I wrote a letter to the parks and rec director citing the AMA Park Flyer program, and suggested that as a taxpayer, they should reconsider allowing park flyers to fly at county parks. The director agreed and I continued to fly there. But now with a FAA requirement to fly with a RFID device if you fly at a non-FRIA location, I only fly at my RC club, which has been approved by the FAA as a FRIA.

This is hilarious because Spektrum itself, the real company is pretty much also a scam. Spektrum is 15 year old technology they sell to you at 5x markup. ELRS is modern technology companies will sell to you at 1.1x markup. You can spend 1000 dollars on a bunch of Spektrum receivers and a radio or you could spend 200 dollars on a radiomaster running elrs and a bunch of receivers and your plane will be ligher, your range will be longer, interference will be less and your wallet will save 800 dollars.

manage to get both my hands yesterday in my 6s nazgul5 v3... prearm is a good crutch to have now. Personally it was a rookie mistake for me leaving my radio on after flight. I went to pick up drone from the top around the battery and radio accidentally flipped the switch on my stomach AND managed to bump the throttle slightly. I held onto it to ensure it not screaming into my face or managing to hurt property around where i was flying. sliced my left hand from wrist to thumb knuckle, and my right hand got 2 fingers really bad, basically pushing skin from my knuckled down to my nails. pretty damn gnarly but never gonna happen again. lesson learned.
