Добавлен 27 авг 2023
I'm an avid amateur gardener living in beautiful Cornwall. I've been completely bitten by the gardening bug over the past few years and thought I may as well document my horticultural adventures through this channel. I am by no means an expert but hopefully some of the things i've learnt over the years may be of use to you lovely people.

Early Spring Garden Update (The Sun finally came out)
Hi bạn tự để giống hạt hoa rất tốt .
Yes great insight i only have a few petunias, but will have a look tomorrow. Will they all come back as they were/ring true?
@@GrowTropicalMK I think it depends, if they're an F1 variety then no i dont think so
I pruned my allysum and they got a nice new flush. Great update thank you, Ali 🌞🌦️🇨🇦
👍🏻👍🏻
Can I collect seeds from Fuchsias and clematis? I’m new to gardening 🤦♀️
@@liz3putt from Fuchsia berries you can yes! However they may not come true to the original plant, best to take cuttings really, its quick and easy. As for Clematis, i dont know! Never tried from seed, cuttings work tho 🙂
@@TheCornishCottageGarden-bs5lf thank you my ‘andsome! I’ll check up how to take cuttings. Many thanks 🙏🏻
@@liz3putt I have videos on that 👍👍👍
Nice garden..lots of flowers😊 L5
@@SusanZS78 Thankyou for watching 🙂

I need to get bulbs,I normally get them at the same time as buying garlic bulbs .they will make a colourful spring garden for you 👍
@@GanggangPeanut Im hoping so! It is addictive tho as although i definitely have enough already, i still want more 😭😭
@@TheCornishCottageGarden-bs5lf I know that feeling 😂😂👍
Incredible all out on the bulbs. I am going to do a tropical look shop and video!
😂 bulb madness 🎉, I have some to put in but it’s now the debate where to put them. Awesome choices and should be a stunning display come spring, Ali 🌧️🌞🇨🇦
@@myrustygarden I know! Roll on springtime 😁😁😁
I'm in America and I would never call it 'Confederate' jasmine, ew. We call it Star Jasmine as well.
@@jeffmeyer9319 yes ok, but it is also called confederate jasmine in the US, a google search will confirm that
Hi You've a gorgeous, varied selection. Don't forget to label them. It's amazing how our memory fails us. Home bargains and Lidl used to sell fantastic tulip collections, but since covid no more. Do you think that there are new health laws on importing bulbs?🌟👏🤩🙃
@@77sun222 To be honest, I only use the supermarkets n stuff to bulk up my supply on the cheap, then go to my local garden centre for the more specialist varieties
Wow lovely collection and so cheap, that lot would set you back alot here
@@helengannon8855 yep, i do like a bulb bargain 😁
Bet they'll create a stunning display in spring 😍
@@S_M20000 Im certainly hoping so 😁
That's an amazing harvest, thanks for sharing..new friend here from Growing My Own.
@@growingmyown Thanks so much 🙂
Nice dear
Lots of lovely things growing! I need to do more flowers next year
@@Lottiesgardenallotment Awww thanks! Yea its fading now really, excited for next spring already 😊
Peachy rose from cutting is also lovely, thanks for the detailed video.
Fuchsias are beautiful, I didn’t know you can grow them from cuttings too. I will check out your other videos soon.
@@Kay4Life They root pretty easy, you should give them a go 🙂
That Fuchsia is gorgeous.
Fantastic variety in this video. You have produced some amazing results!

Hard to imagine it’s September already I seem to remember July 😂😂. Looking really good and look forward to hearing about the new plans, happy gardening, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

That's a great crop of tomatoes. Love seeing your garden. Hope you had a lovely weekend. Diane 😊.
Awesome boss 💍 🔥
Hi I have yet to grow from seed like yourself, but sometimes I can buy bargain fresh chilies from markets. I slice and then freeze them. Believe me,they stay hot and you can add them to any dish hot or cold🙃🌟👍🌽
Great harvest ,I also have crimson crush this year ,very productive plants and a good bet against blight 👍 I’m still using chilli flakes I grew 2 years ago 😂👍🍅
Beautiful boss
😋😋 Yummy. Worth a try 👍🌟

😂😂 by the end of summer I’m a bit tired looking so I can relate. I’m trying to keep on top of dead heading and it’s definitely noticeable in the new flush of flowers. Lovely tour, Ali 🇨🇦
Yes boss, nice little tour. Those ring of fire look plump
Hi Your tomatoes and chillies are a great success. I too adore, sparingly,a chilli with every meal. Your crocosmia and my single white liatris can liaise on why they won't increase in quantity 😂 I can see that you're still enjoying your plants. Roll on autumn🍻🍰🌟
Hi Don't want to speak too soon, but i truly haven't seen a slug or snail for weeks now. If i had known i would have chanced growing dahlias and sweet peas. Both a dream of mine. Why have they started on your clematis?😢😢🌟
@@77sun222 theyve always had a taste for it, but the damp conditions have really fired them up lol
