If the Teflon costing is coming off does the supercharger need to go in the bin? Or can you continue to use?
How bad is it? Small scratches, or big chunks that have fell off? IIRC - someone did say that even if the whole coating comes off, exposing the aluminium rotors, it will still work. But my guess is that the air being compressed and pushed out - will no longer be efficient since there are gaps between the rotors. Do expect that less boost will be present if the teflon coating has already come off completely (or become in a very bad state).
@hsk2451 thanks for the reply. It's got decent chunks on it, if I used as is the rest will likely go through the engine. I'll open it, and strip off the remaining and see how it goes. I'm using on a 4cyl toyota engine. Down a few psi is fine... if the concept works then I'll save up and get a new one. You're vid very helpful for the teardown
@@Garage_Dori Nah, video's not mine Sir. I'm also in the process of repairing my supercharger (Ogura TX15P)... and some internet community guys pointed me to this very useful video!
This video saved my lifeee😂
Hello man, love your work, and will be good help to my engine rebuilt. Thanks a lot. Can I ask you look a guy with lot experience in this kind a engine, I have 2007 kawasaki 250X ultra 1500 jt, and the crankcase it is finish the OEM parts 1401-3745, It is the some from the 2008 model? Gawd..was gonna look at one of these bikes 2012 plate on 9000mls..don't think I'll bother..
Appreciate this
If you lose all your keys, you have 2 options. 1, new ecm. 2, send original ecm to get reflashed. The dongle is required for adding keys but is not needed if you buy a new ecm. The new ecm will come in an open mode to accept keys.
😢
God bless this video. I have just changed all the timing chains on a kawasaki kfx 700 😊
How did you get the timing chain guides off?
@@tompetramanos2924 which one do you mean?
Looking at the flywheel side of the motor there are two black timing chain guides on a pivot shaft retained by a c clip going to the rear cylinder. How do u get the pivot post those guides ride on off. It's too long to slide the rear guide off
@@tompetramanos2924 You ever figure this out? it looks like they kept the guides on
Thank you. according to your video, I assembled tx15p for the 3gr-fse engine
Great video with good info. I have shared it and the cam timing video many times. Thanks.
Thanks dear
This video is sweet ty the 750 will run again
the only reason they put this vid out is to frustrate you in to bringing it into the dealer ...this is useless

In my country, Kawasaki is going to join motorcycles. What alternatives are there of electronic tools there, to assemble in the workshop?
I hate these key fobs; A solution for a problem no one ever has!
No beep no start what could be the problem?
Smuthdee Smith did u ever figure out the problem bc I have the same problem right now😂
Perfect! Thanks! How much tork on each nuts and screws?
What engines are these found on? It looks way too large for any motorcycle.
Its a jet ski! Its a supercharger.
What if you lose both keys? And need a replacement?

Randy Lacy contact where the ski was bought from and ask for a master key
I was wondering if the timing chain guide on the rear cylinder needs to be installed before I drop the chain in to work the sprocket? I'm having difficulties getting the guide (the long one that is on the high side of the chain) to not put so much pressure on the chain when installing it. Thank you, let me know if this is confusing
gday michail nixon will the cam shaft turn from pressure once chain tensioner installed?

What was the name and brand of the sealer?
I know this is old, but looks like Threebond 1211.
rodsatheart Ya it was I got some from The Kawi Dealer.
Do you still have that ski ?
rodsatheart Yes I sand blasted the Supercharger and painted it red to match the ski. The last time I took the ski out the engine blew. Cylinder 4 has no compression. So my next project is to rebuild the engine or find a new one then rebuild the old one in my spare time.
I used all stainless steel bolts when I put it back together.
how to get this software for 2014 Models?
no replacement parts? why bother checking it till it breaks
I think its so you phuck the shimming up and kill it.
Is there an easy way to get the KDS interface? Does anyone knows a generic scantool which works on Kawas?
hello, thanks for your help, but l have a kawasaki 260lx supercharged already disassembley and l didn't see any chims , and nut between pulley and supercharged cas is this posible?
Out of curiosity had anyone tried installing KDS on Windows 7 64-Bit yet?? I'm going to give this a try and let yall know how it works out.
Sorry for the late reply, I don't log on as often as I should. The software is available through any Kawasaki dealer. It comes as a CD, plus you need a handful of cables that are extra. A sharp dealer can get you started. If you need more, email me at carbrebuilder@gmail.com

hi. thanks for the comments. it is actually a factory Kawasaki video, that I produced as I work or Kawasaki corporate. the arrow upward, the lines on the sprocket parallel, this method is right out of the factory manual.
Thanks for uploading it, 12 years later its still extremely useful!
Does the arrow on the cam sprocket always point up when timing? And this shows an 08+ brute is this for the older years as well?
Thanx for the post, very helpful.
