Based in Cardiff, his studio is quite spacious with a corner that is awash with colours - numerous paint pots, aerosol cans sit on a glass table which doubles up as his working palette. Nick is young, really genuine, down to earth, funny and seriously talented.

Excellent advice thank you very much! You have a soothing voice too it's relaxing to listen to👌

Failed demonstration 🤷🏻♂️
Why add music to drown out the words ? It takes away the point of the video.
Nice Content. I am your new subscriber. After you apply water to the canvas how many hours you need to wait when you apply the primer. Thank you .
I absolutely love the ambience of this video. 😊and how educational it is.
How about we don't use rabbit skin. Go vegan for the animals ❤

Thank you for bringing Georgina to Cranfield Colours good to know her choices for landscaping ❤
Good info👍
Very inspiring ❤
She’s a cutie
Whats the difference to paining in viscosity when applying to canvas
Good skills are hard to find these days
What do you do with the waste-water or your inky rags? I’ve heard that Caligo Safe-wash isn’t supposed to go down the drain.
First class advice. Thankyou very much indeed.
I really like how you explain it with that peaceful music background
Could you share a link to the LCA please? I can't find it on your website.
Great video packed full of interesting facts, thanks for posting it.
it is an illustration and a means to inspire people who are just beginning. Nothing to do with degrees! Art is irrespective of academic prowess. You should enjoy it for its own sake not for a 2:1 and an overwhelming student debt!!
Can't believe that she is not ashamed to beputting this up. This is a primary school project not high art.
This is what Masters at Royal Academy of Art gets you. I guess you can if you have a millionaire husband funding this substandard Art
Is this what you learn at Art School? My GCSE Art print is better than that.
You sweet old man.
Excellent presentation 🙌
I disagree about the preparation process for pre-primed canvases. Less expensive pre-primed canvases can be quite well built, and overall _can sometimes_ represent a useful saving. However, their primings can be so weak and cheap that they are a danger to the finished work, and there is little point simply putting a decent primer over a poor one - the base layer is still weak. _Remove_ the worst of the suspect priming by careful sanding, and then replace with a proper primer. Sorry, but painting on primer in one direction only is also a mistake; it should be brushed out in star shapes (largish flat brush) while constantly varying the angle of the strokes. Your method can only encourage visible lines on the final surface, and it does not guarantee that all sides of the bumps making up the canvas weave are all primed to the same degree. Oh dear! - you will not be able to see all the fibres and unwanted bumps in the priming layers - so you sand _the whole thing_ lightly. Be sure to remove any dust with a damp cloth after sanding.
Fantastic instruction
Sweet
Can you use KILZ 2 primer?
Fascinating, thank you
It would be very useful to have a list of all the colours Georgina uses on her palette.
Hi Team. I know what relief and etching processes are but cannot see any difference in the inks of the same names. Can you please tell me how the inks differ?
Lovely. I would really like to see Georgina doing a really large painting to see the difference when using larger brushes.
my canvas puckered
Try this - acrylic paintings : Spray (with water) the underside of puckered area of canvas and let it dry. Gently using a blow dryer on warm speeds up the process. 🙂 Works for a lot of us ! Hope it works for you! (Also good for canvas that may have a bulge after being poorly stored.) 🫢
How many times should a canvas be sized if you're using PVA?
Most helpful, thanks
Excellent advice. Please share the names of the primers for both acrylics and ouls
Thank you!!
how does she get the edges so clean and no white gaps shown in the print?
Thank you. Found the background music irritating while trying to focus on what you say.
Then you must have Atention Deficit Disorder. That's just ridiculous. Could you do us a favor? Show us your videos so we can see how to make one correctly. I'm so tired of people who don't contribute anything to anyone but criticism.
@@BlisteredBubble I do have cognitive problems due to neuromuscular disease. Did not mean as a such a strong criticism. But I find that generally music is put on the background of these videos so I cannot concentrate. Still it might have been a bit harsh- was really tired that day. However- I did get 7 likes- so perhaps I am not the only one. I just do not think it adds anything to instruction videos generally. I am very grateful for free videos and should not have said anything.
@Tammy Lain Actually, I apologize for my comment. I was actually too harsh with what I said. I actually was only diagnosed with a neurological dystrophy, which causes cognitive disfunction and physical issues also. I guess the reason I jumped on you was I had just watched another content creators video where I saw someone just bashing the person over how they edited their video. No, thank you for taking the time to make it for everyone, just criticism. Everyone definitely does have the right to constructive criticism. It's just that the last person was very rude. I guess I took it out on you. I am sorry about your health issues. I wish you better health in your days ahead.
@@BlisteredBubble Thank you. Wow- we have some of the same issues. Not that you have to say it here- bur I wonder what you have, and how you cope. I live in Denmark where rare disease is not widely known. Took 30 years to get a diagnosis. I hope you have all the help you need. And thank you for the kind reply. :-)
@Tammy Lain I have a form of Parkinsons unfortunately. It is fairly new to me. I have been dealing with effects from it for a few years now. But they had gone undiagnosed for a while. Only now did they catch it. Things are becoming a bit more difficult at increasing frequency. I remain positive and try to do as much as I can to keep functioning. I am sorry it took 30 years for you to receive a diagnosis. I live in the States, and they missed it for a few years also. Rare diseases are sometimes hard to pinpoint as they can mimic so many other issues, making diagnosis elusive. I sincerely wish you the best. I would love to visit Denmark someday. I hear it is beautiful.
A lot of good info in this video. Thank you
thank you !
We aim to please
Nice to hear george speaking but the clip is not very instructive! Let's hear more systematics !
Very informative, thank you
What binder do they use to product this colors ?
I would love to know which three tubes of colours Georgina takes into the field
ditto
Thank you! Can you show cleaning the beater and plate?
"Can't spell colour without "u." Well...in the States we do...
