I just found your channel today, and I’m so grateful I did-your playing aligns so well with what my ears love to hear! I know the major and minor scales and pentatonics up and down the fretboard, as well as the chord tones for common chords, including those outside the scale. But I’m struggling to create more dynamic and engaging solos, especially when it comes to building suspense and using the interplay of note choice, timing, sustain, and other expressive elements. The section at 5:06 was absolutely beautiful and a perfect example of the kind of sound I’m striving for. You complement the backing track so well whereas I often feel like my playing doesn’t blend as naturally. Do you have any advice or practice techniques for developing these aspects of soloing? I know it’s kind of nuanced, but I’d love to hear your perspective or see a video discussing this. Thanks so much, and keep up the amazing content!

It is a C major scale, not C pentatonic, but C Ionic, or hexatonic having 7 sides or in music 7 notes. Pentatonic is 5 sides or in music 5 notes.
