5:35 I'm on linux (pop os) with the gnome desktop environment and the first customisation I added was something called "Run Cat", it just shows a cat running whenever the CPU is in use and it goes to sleep when the CPU is idle

Its part of a bigger problem on windows. When you enable file extensions on file names, it also opens up the option to edit said file extension, and some novice users may accidentaly change the extension too while trying to edit the file name rendering useless (which is also kinda dumb). Windows sometimes have such dumb functionality that they kept just because its legacy. Like how there is still two entirely different device managers and control panels still in Windows 11 🫠
