Whats going on here is admittedly a bit silly. I spent a really REALLY long time doing testing to figure out whats going on here, and alot of math to figure out how acuity was calculated. So basics first how is crit chance calculated its very simple lets use a non-incarnon braton to explain base braton has 12% critical chance, if we slot point strike it gives it an additional 150% so basically looks like this 12 + (150/100 * 12) = 30% A single point strike mod should get the weapon to 30% critical chance. Which it does in game. Acuity does a parallel calculation that adds the ending values together so if I slot acuity and point strike into the braton it looks like this z is our base crit chance of 12 just makes things easier for plugins z + (150/100 * 12) = y [or the original calculation of 30%] y + (350/100 *12) = x and the final value is x or in this case [30 + 42] where 42 is the additonal crit chance from acuity at max rank on the braton. so we end out with 92% crit chance on a braton with acuity and point strike lets run the numbers with acuity on your braton assuming the base crit chance should be 30% with the incarnon and crit chance modded is 143.3% (btw incarnon calculations are really weird and I haven't fully figured them out just yet in terms of crit chance) 350/100*30 = 105 so with acuity braton should be at a final critchance of 248.3% So whats going on here? The actual problem here is that braton at base has a sever issue it sometimes adheres to crit chance additions and sometimes not. But in testing it braton seemingly cannot reach higher than tier 1 red crits. Its breakpoint chance values are higher to get the extra exclamation marks. But its even wonkier than that. Nyx and Cyte-09 have passives that can increase critical chance values on weapons additive with mods. Nyx's passive on a base braton with only acuity and point strike looks like this base crit 12% modded crit 30% acuity addition 42% Nyx passive addition 24% added up is 96% critical chance meaning that It should NEVER orange crit. Except it will. It should not. Braton has some sort of a rounding feature with critical chance. Over 300% it harshly begins to round down assumedly from this video, no other weapon does this. The acceltra prime (base crit of 34%) modded up to 102% critical chance can easily reach the two exclamation mark red crit with acuity and with an external 80% critical buff can hit the third tier red crit. But both the weapons shown in this video have much higher modded crit chance values. But this rounding problem gets even weirder using Cyte-09's passive in place of nyx should have crits looking like this 30% modded + 42 acuity + 36% crit chance. barely breaking the 100% crit chance barrier but meaning that it always yellow crits sometimes orange crits but never red crits. It does. It fucking red crits. And not some of the time, a decent ammount of the time it fucking red crits. Seemingly Braton has a point in its crit chance that gives it more leeway to hit red crits. But it increases the crit chance required to gain extra red crit tiers. Its quite stupid very silly and I have no idea whats going on with it to do this. TL;DR braton is fucking bitch and will give you higher tier crits when you should not be getting them seemingly at the cost of not being able to reach over one exclamation mark on its red crits. It has a crit pity system or something fuck this gun I hate it. Going to do more testing with this though to see if I can pinpoint whats happening with braton and also if this occurs on other weapons. Edit: quick note I want to add the rounding crits is not done by Braton but by acuity. Addtionally the reason tetra is getting higher tiers is because tetra is one of a select suite of weapons that is effected by crit chance multiplicity. But braton still has something going on with it.

Just like Cascadia Accuracy, this mod applies multiplicatively to modded cc instead of base cc on some weapons. It also has some funny effects like double dipping when Harrow's covenant is active. Edit: Do note that acuity, Cascadia Accuracy, and frost's biting frost augment all seem to be within the same pool of buffs meaning they all work multiplicatively to modded cc on the same weapons

You're doing too much critical chance that it is breaking the limit and looping back around to normal red crits (lower range). Meanwhile the other one is staying within the limits/ceiling. The reason why this is is because the primary acuity is not shown in the crit chance calculator due to it being a conditional crit chance, so in reality you probably broke past the triple red crit chance ceiling/limit.

I think the galvanized mods here are just not required at all since it's Never killing anything. Basic Aptitude and Chamber and then you can swap the elements to like radiation/cold for priming and cc
