I didn't see your comment till just now. Sorry for not responding sooner! I am wearing Fisher Travers Carbon AT boots and they are MUCH narrower than a traditional downhill boot. I am not booting out enough to lift the edge but at some points I can feel like the boot is hitting. I can add riser plates to the bindings if needed. And to be clear, this is my new favorite ride. I am able to carve through so many more situations on this board, however, it's further from being an all-mountain board than the V-0.

It turned out to be 7" after I turned the camera sideways. Sadly, I never took the time to update this with photos of the crawler and don't have it any longer as I jumped from inspecting to property management. It worked well for my needs.

@@dustinwebster6349 Awesome! Thank you for the info! So you just took that car that you mentioned before and took the body off of it? I do a lot of crawlspace is down here in South Florida and I’m a big guy, trying to find a better way.

Exactly, it was quite simple. There are better systems out there, but as I already had the crawler, this was a great solution with super low costs.

See if you can find yourself a used Axial Scorpion or Axial SCX10 rockcrawler. You can sometimes find then for under $150 for the car and remote. Then I added the Insta360 One X camera, which you can also find used for a couple hundred. Throw on a couple of battery powered LED flood lights like the freebies that Harbor Freight gives out. A setup for about $400 that will work in many situations. Is it perfect? Not by a longshot. Is it good for many situations without costing a couple grand? Absolutely. FYI, I not only use the Insta360 for crawlspaces, but also for my initial and ending walkthroughs when doing inspection so I have a 360 video of a super quick walkthrough at the start, then one as I finish my inspection and lock the door, as I can go back and see things again if I need to, plus use it as proof of how it looked at the start and finish of my inspection. Because it's a 360 camera, I can walk the entire house in a minute and be done, seeing all angles.

@@zincman1995 Even though I have the RC crawler, I still belly crawl anything I can possibly get into, even if it's super tight. I cannot risk missing anything that I may have caught by being under there myself. Slight changes in color that don't come across in video, a certain smell, etc. It's simply a tool for when things get too tight. Best of luck in your inspection business!

I don't let it get far from me. I walk the floor directly above where it is in the crawlspace, so I'm only a couple feet away at most. There is no reason to stand outside and pay extra for huge range, when I can walk above it and do just fine with camera wifi that doesn't interfere with the R/C controller. I have only had 2 inspections with crawlspaces I could not access, so using parts I already had made far more sense than buying or building something super custom.

@@weezer598 I get less tired riding a monoski than I do when skiing with 2 skis. However, there are some benefits for 2 skis as it's easier to learn and gain control with 2 skis. For me, after my first day on a monoski, I knew right then I would probably not be skiing on 2 skis again. Which one was me? I am the one with the camera on his head for the entire video...I am the filmer and the one who made the video. I would love to own an R as I do so many different activities with my camera that I'd love to own one. However, even though they perform a bit better in low light, for my particular needs for this crawlspace crawler I am happy with the performance of the One X vs starting over. I already owned the One X, so for now, will have to stick with what I have.
