Can I import this to Ansys Forte?
Yes, please check ANSYS Forte compatible format and export the mesh file.
Very interesting. I've been searching for hours on how to extend an axis or face/s of an imported STL. Thanks!
Thank you for your feedback 😊
Anxiously awaiting your upcoming video on how to turn the two cut surfaces into solids by closing them. Any estimate when this will be published?
Yuck, synthetic voice. No thanks.
Thanks, it's short and clear. It helped.
Thank you so much for your feedback 😊
Nice work, how to send this mesh into ansys for analysis?
It will be done automatically. If not, request to export and import using external data.
Very nice and helpful thanks

Thank you for your tutorial of great quality! Where can I find the geemetry? please
Please find the requested geometry on drive.google.com/file/d/12C4UCWH74bRQ3AXYXxlDpRVRNdh5GvhC/view?usp=sharing
Thank you very much👍
Why did you split the mesh into all those zones , it won’t give you the right results if you don’t split?
Splitting the mesh improves accuracy by refining critical areas and optimizing the simulation. It ensures detailed results where needed without wasting computational resources. Thank you for your comment 🙂
@@Learn-Engineering alright thank you for the answer
Wow... I have meshed so many things now but I learned SO much in this 5 minute video... Thank you for this video.

Very smart meshing techique! thanks for the nice tutorial.
Thank you so much for your feedback 😊
Hi! Your videos are a great find for me. thank you very much! But I ran into a serious problem to perform my calculations. So, I created an internal volume on the Dy200 and the same length. I set the following parameters: The number of layers is 25 The height of the first cell is 0.005 mm The degree of growth is 1.2 When generating the grid, the generator writes that everything was completed successfully, but when I save the file with the extension.msh for Fluent, then negative volumes are formed
Please check with other ANSYS versions.
Thank you

These 5 solid parts consisting of copy meshes work as 1 solid body during analysis or is there a contact I need to define there?
To define contacts for these geometries, ensure that the shared topology between bodies is specified so that nodes at common surfaces are merged automatically. If shared topology is not applied, you will need to manually/automatically apply contact definitions.
It was an excellent explanation. Congratulations and thank you very much!
Thank you so much for your feedback 😊
Should I slice and project curve surfaces separately for other parts? or is it possible to make a mesh copy since the other parts are the same size?
You can copy the same part and apply different transformations to create a cube, and then merge the nodes for the common surfaces.
Thanks your return😇 For this example, can I delete the unmeshed 7 parts then move and copy this meshed part(you made in video) in the design section so that they can be meshed as well?
@@NurselKutuk You can create a cube from this single part in two ways: either delete the remaining seven un-meshed parts and duplicate the mesh part, placing it at the desired locations, or export the mesh part and import it eight times into an external model (in component systems) tool, applying the necessary transformations to assemble the cube. If you need a detailed tutorial on how to import and transform the part using an external model, we can provide one, but please note it will take approximately one day to prepare.
Really thanks a lot🥹🙏🏻I will follow your update videos.

There are more than 1 blocking files, how can I export files to external model then static structural with no losing components?
To export your SpaceClaim model with mesh data to an external simulation tool, save your model and then export it as an `.inp` file by right clicking on it. This format includes both geometry and mesh information. Import the `.inp` file, and verify that all components and mesh data are correctly retained before proceeding with your static structural analysis. By default, all will be placed at previous defined location only.
Hello, Please check out this recently made tutorial: ruclips.net/video/BMSnu8Tmcnk/видео.html
I tried your command but still components looks like 1 body in static structural model part. I want all the parts that I created in spaceclaim separately, even the non-mesh elements, to be visible in the static structural model section. How can I do this so how should I record it?
Can I do it like this? I do all the operations (shape and mesh) using the geometry module as you did. Then I drag the geometry for the static structural model onto the model section. In this way, separate parts and mesh appeared. I'm not sure if it's correct, do you think it's correct?
@@NurselKutuk You can combine different geometries into a single static structural module and perform mesh operations on unmeshed parts within the static structural mechanical window. We will provide more insights with a video.
Your videos are sooo great! I'm just learning how to mesh with Spaceclaim, I have a cube-shaped geometry with spherical spaces inside. How can I define a high quality hexa(cubic) mesh?
Hello, Thank you for your feedback 😊 Please slice a geometry into many parts to achieve this.
The sphere shape is located inside of cubic. How can I perform the slice operation?
Do you have a video about this slice part?

i have an issue in Mid surface creation for two parallar surface connection when 3D but when i creat mid surfaces they are apart and then i am unable to creat the filler weld as well
If the mid-surfaces are misaligned and you're unable to create the filler weld, ensure the surfaces are properly aligned and clean. You might need to adjust the Mid-Surface tool settings or manually correct the mid-surfaces. If issues persist, please provide more details, and we will help further.
To extract the outer perimeter of an STL model in FreeCAD, first import the STL file and convert it to a shape using the `Part` workbench. Then, create a new sketch on the desired plane where you want the perimeter. Switch to the `Draft` workbench to upgrade the shape to edges, and finally use `Draft` > `Draft to Sketch` to convert those edges into a sketch. This will give you the perimeter of the STL model on the selected plane. If you have any difficulties or need further clarification, please provide more details about the specific issues you're encountering.

Hi, When I go to convert shape to solid I get an error message saying: Cannot convert CE3_Large_Front_Bracket_MWO001 because Shape is not a shell. Is there a work around?

Have an issue with creating a coil from 0.1 mm wire with pitch 0.5 and diameter 1mm, lenght 150mm... The program freezes with no result displayed. Anyone has the same issue?
Hi there! If FreeCAD freezes when creating a coil from 0.1mm wire with a 0.5mm pitch, 1mm diameter, and 150mm length, try these tips: create a shorter coil first (e.g., 10mm), ensure you're using the latest version of FreeCAD. Good luck!

Doesnt work.........computer crashes.....nothing works with this freecad. If you want people to keep buying your products you will have to create a 3D cad program for us to use. FeeCAD is not one. If you take a look at all the 2nd hand 3D printers for sale that should tell you how many people have a go and give up. Because there is no 3D Cad software to use for us................one that works that is.....for free......
how to I increase heights on a pyramid? Like I want the point to go up more.
It is not possible due to limitations in FreeCAD software, and achieving this would require many steps. It is better to create a new model instead. We apologize for the late response. Please note that our team has already attempted to address this issue before commenting.
