Hey, sorry i missed your stream, I have two questions, do you play on steam? And what controller do you use? I use both Xbox and PS5 controllers Anyway i wanted to give you some advice, first every enemy has a hidden "health" bar called poise and if you do enough damage to their poise, they will get staggered and when they become staggered they are open to critical strikes, obviously stronger attacks or heavier weapons will do more damage to their poise. Secondly, around the 43 minute mark when you were talking about fat rolling, your dodge animation is dependent on your weight ratio, when your current weight is less than 30% of your max weight you will be light rolling, when you are between 30% and 70% of your max weight you will be medium rolling, when you are over 70% of your max weight, you will be heavy rolling, or fat rolling, and when you go over your max weight you will be unable to dodge or roll, all weapons and armor pieces contribute to your current weight along with any talismans you have equipped. You can increase your max equip load by leveling up your endurance which will also increase your maximum stamina. Whenever you try to sneak attack anyone you have you have to be directly behind and use a light attack in order to perform a critical strike and it won't work for every enemy you encounter. You were wondering why you couldn't use Torrent, your mount, at the castle gates, its because Stormveil Castle is a legacy dungeon, there are a few throughout the game, and you aren't allowed to use your mount inside legacy dungeons. I recommend exploring the open world, particularly around cliffsides, because you can find caves or catacombs and they always have upgrade materials. Smithing stones to upgrade regular weapons and somber smithing stones to upgrade special weapons. Grave gloveworts to upgrade spirit ashes and ghost gloveworts to upgrade elite spirit ashes. Spirit ashes can be upgraded by Roderika, the girl with the red hood that gave you the Jellyfish spirit ash, after she has arrived at the roundtable hold and you have spoken to the blacksmith Master Hewg about Roderika. And lastly, there are three classes of shields, small shields which provide the least amount of protection and are actually more for parrying than they are for blocking attacks. Medium shields which provide better protection and is like a middle ground between defense and maneuverability. And lastly, greatshields, which provide the best defense but are very heavy. If you look at the stats of shields you want to focus on the right column where it says "Guarded Damage Negation" that tells you a percentage of how much the incoming damage is reduced, if it says for example "Magic 49", it means the magic damage you received while holding guard is reduced by 49% so a higher number is a higher reduction of incoming damage. I forgot to add, rather than going through the front gates, the intended path for you to take WAS that location where you thought you had gotten lost, you were to get past the enemies throwing explosives at you, go through the door and into the room with the ladder, go up the ladder, and then you take a left, not a right, which is where you were getting lost. If it's a stolen horse then they walk away

Mounts running away is the most annoying aspect of an otherwise great part of the game. Why the devs didn't include a horse whistle to call them back is either them being complete trolls or utter incompetents - or a combo of both. You basically have two choices, waste lots of game time trying to find where your horse ran off to or just scratch that until you can hire a carriage again to allow the horse to respawn at your new location. The whole dilemma pretty much nullifies the benefit of having a mount.

Im going to start a new playthrough on christmas day on my nintendo switch i will do a survival run i did it once but turned it off halfway through the game i cant remember what it was like do u recommend i do play on survival also do u have anniversary edition ? 👍👍

I've done survival mode a few times and really enjoyed it. Then another content creator chose to make her 2nd run at Skyrim in Legendary/Survival and it was so hilariously impossible and she seemed to be having so much fun regardless I was inspired to give it a go myself. I now hate both the game and her (just kidding).😁😇 It has certainly changed up how I play but I've yet been able to figure out why at times it becomes impossible and other incidences are really easy - makes no sense to me. I'm also currently running with Jenassa, since her "mobile-meat-smoothie-blender" knife technique has really helped whenever those accursed DB Assassins spring up from under some rock intent on my immediate expiration. This is the first time I've ever invested so heavily in Alchemy because one can never have enough health potions or slow/paralysis poisons.

Just use a bow already unless you got mod destruction magic like instant death or avalanche

I was actually enjoying legendary survival, with the atronarch stone, it makes it so much easier and if you get spell absorb anything and make a weak enchant or do the mages guild quest line it makes it really that much better... What really made me switch survival was the cold ........its really dumb being stuck somewhere snowy .

Alright its cheap but works. Archery potions increase all physical damage and stacks with other onehanded and twohanded potions respectivly, all physical damage includeing unarmed so thats anothe rplaythrough for you. If you get vegetiable soup and eat it, for 11 minutes you have infinite power attacks and bashes and bashing can stun lock. Alchemy is god tier aswell. Mora tapinella, imp stool and canis root can also be growed when overtime every 3 ingame days you get the most powerful paralyze damage overtime poison youll ever need. Still being broken at lower alchemy levels. Also the higher the base damage of your weapon the faster the skill levels. So if you got saints and seducers and can stomache it the best craftable set of gear in the game is madness set. Higher then dragonbone by and daedric if i recall. The weapons for sure.followers can also have a infinite size inventory as long as you make them pick the object off the ground. Also can be used to dupe items but im not letting get the easy way out. Followers also dont lose damage so craft them some op weapons and let them get to work while you sheld bash and pot shot with poisons and other stuff

Skyrim survival mode on legendary is quite difficult. Now imagine playing it with DEAD is DEAD rule. One strike and your out. I tried that a few times and actually perfected my conjuration Archer survival technique so well that I actually made it to level 72 without dying once --- then, of course the inevitable happened, as it does to all of us. Boy was that depressing. Love this game and love this mode.

I enjoyed my Legendary Survival playthrough. Did a platinum run on that file, got crazy after a while.

And suddenly, Skyrim became a dangerous world to live in 😊 .. As it meant to be in the first place ❤

I love survival on master. I save legendary till about level 20

I love playing this mode. The slower pace can be nice. Note, I play apprentice difficulty whenever I do this as my git good ability isn't there yet on this mode 😅

I love my legendary survival run, with the mods i got it makes it feel like a version of minecraft that hates you

Personally I never liked the graphics with it

as someone who has almost 5000 hours in this game trying to do survival on legendary is not fun, the balance is so far off and one shot kills by a higher level enemy will stop you in your tracks, after about 100 hours into the run i gave up, but i wish you luck, good video btw.

I think it took me about 2-3 hours just to get gear that can tickle enemies. I gave in at about 4 hours in with the amount of trouble I had exploring and setting up. I will say that skyrim truly is the most difficult survival game when it comes to legendary mode. But I do like that all the "useless" features became super important and everything in the game at that point had some purpose.

pro tip for survival if you aren't aware, if you need to go to dawnstar at some point there's a boat you can use to fast travel to windhelm for easy access to the carriage. if you're gonna be playing for a while and exploring a lot it's also not a bad idea to build houses in morthal and falkreath just to buy a carriage driver. hope you have more fun than i did lol, i hate survival
