Yes, he was regaining his strength after being in imprisonment and experimented on by Russians for 40 years
His chest blasts likely need time to charge but his durability and enhanced strength is second to homelander only. Maybe Sam from Gen V can handle his strength as they both likely received large amounts of the perfected V formula. And both have similar levels but soldier boy is the superior fighter due to army training and experience.

@@Crimson19977 he definitely packs a wallop even compared to other high tier supes but he's not invincible. Butchers heat vision did manage to cut him, if only slightly, and homelander did manage to over power him tho he himself took damage doing it. One thing is for sure tho, I can wait for season 4 of the boys and season 2 of gen v. I love this superhero madness shit.
