Warner Bros. 100th Anniversary-Bugs and Daffy's Carnival of the Animals (1976)
In resuming with Warner Bros. 100th Anniversary, I'm reviewing a "live action/animated" special starring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and features a classical set of music with animation of its own and together becomes an interesting and fun special, even when it doesn't go all out...Bugs and Daffy's Carnival of the Animals (1976). Enjoy!

It's Thanksgiving and I have a movie to review for Disney's 100th Anniversary. And while this one isn't Thanksgiving related, it has a mixed of holidays with one story set on Halloween and the other having settings of Christmas and New Years. But together, they make a film with good moments throughout, yet I like one more than the other...The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949). Enjoy and...

To continue with Disney's 100th Anniversary, I've decided to review one of their last animated Winnie the Pooh movies, released 6 years before the 2011 Winnie the Pooh movie, and part of a trilogy of movies following The Tigger Movie (2000) and Piglet's Big Movie (2003). (4:23) This was Hans Conried’s 4th involvement with Dr. Seuss after The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T, Horton Hears a Who!, and in Dr. Seuss on the Loose narrating The Sneetches and The Zax.
Admit it this is way sadder than the land before time
My top 8 favorite Christmas movies that were made by Rankin Bass. Yes. This includes non Rankin Bass movies. Get over it. 8. A Miser Bros Christmas: The first non Rankin Bass movie here. I might get hate for this but I don’t care. This movie’s good but the songs (Except The Snow Miser And Heat Miser Song) were forgettable. 7. Rudolph’s Shiny New Year: Rudolph saved both Christmas and the New Year. What more could you ask for? He even got some more new partners after his team up with Hermie and Yukon. Overall it’s a nice movie to watch around the new year. 6. Frosty Returns: The second and last non Rankin Bass movie here. So this movie was animated by one of the animators of the Peanuts movies and it’s a nice touch to it. What worked for Charlie Brown and Snoopy seemed to do justice for Frosty and I like it. 5. Jack Frost: What’s the difference between a groundhog’s shadow and a magical being’s shadow? Not sure but this movie’s good despite it being confused for a Groundhog Day movie or a Christmas movie for some viewers. 4. Santa Is Coming To Town: Great Santa origin story. Nuff said. 3. Frosty The Snowman: I think this is Rankin Bass’s 2nd 2d animated movie and it’s a huge step up from their 1st 2d animated movie. Does it hold up well? Yes. However you can notice the animation errors when you watch this movie for the first time where in some scenes, Frosty talks despite his mouth not moving but you can just ignore them. 2. The Year Without A Santa Claus: This movie’s still a real banger though and it still is to this very day. 1. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer: WHY WEREN’T YOU AT ELF PRACTICE!!!!!!!!????????
bros the fun police
This special is so good that ABC Family (Freeform) decided to include it in their 25 Days of Christmas lineup.
I've never seen this before, it seems weird and strange but very in line with the 70s
I've seen these separately but didn't know they'd put them together on a single release. It does seem like a strange combo.
Nice! I think I probably saw this one, but if I did, it's been years. Do you have this on VHS?
I have it on DVD. It's also available on RUclips.
Honestly the film is boring

In the climax did Ludmilla lose control of her actions and become a mindless beast, or was she throwing a tantrum and destroying the town because she was frustrated over the potion not making her as beautiful as she wanted?
Ludmilla's monster form has a very strong following among the "scalies" portion of the furry fandom and her transformation scene in also quite popular with transformation enthusiasts.
Am love this crazy wacky movie😂😂😂😂😂
I love very much the Winnie The Pooh's animated movies, my favorite animated movie from Winnie The Pooh is Springtime with Roo, Springtime with Roo is my favorite animated movie from Winnie The Pooh, because this movie is about my favorite character from Winnie The Pooh, Roo, Roo is my favorite character from Winnie The Pooh, i like very much Roo, him is very much amazing, wonderful, spetacular, fantastic, brave, fearless, determined, strong, intelligent, responsable, mature, funny, adorable, lovely, polite, and very much cute.
no surprise the Trolls were created by the Chido Brothers who also did the Killer Klowns from Outer Space!
Thank you and Happy Halloween
I didn't think about the animation being retraced like you just said you're smart you pick that up I do enjoy this animated movie and my top 10 favorite Disney animated films
I recommend you check out other Earnest movies they're not the world's greatest movies but they're enjoyable
Bake me a cake
I enjoy the movie of The Shining (1980) it's one of the best horror movies that is worth watching in October.
Night Ghoulery is an excellent Halloween special, but sadly it's getting harder to watch because it's fallen into "Keep Circulating the Tapes" syndrome. It is not available on DVD or streaming services as of this writing, even though I would have gladly bought a DVD of it in a heartbeat if it were available, like I did with the show's three seasons and the "How I Spent My Vacation" special (same thing with the Spring Break special). I also highly doubt Warner Bros. would release it on DVD now, especially since the evil David Zaslav is running it. Night Ghoulery was released on VHS, but the VHS is now out of print and has become rare and expensive.
Good review man Ed Wood is great I enjoy his movie Glenn or Glenda and Plan 9 is funny. I don't think Ed Wood is the worst director ever he had alot more passion and excitement for films then quite a bit of other directors yes he may not have had the budget for his films or the competence too make em. But you can see the vision of what he was trying too do even if its flawed. And still find his films enjoyable even if sometimes its for the wrong reasons. But you can see the heart and passion in them and I appreciate that.
Yeah this is a classic and really fun good review.
Great review man. I'm not sure if I've seeN this one may of seen a little bit of it or clips a long time ago will have too give it a watch free arch for sure.
Great review man yeah this is a fun one The Grinch and Halloween unsurprisingly go together very well.
Good One Buddy!

I have never seen that Halloween Special at all!
No wonder this special was there last!
don't forget the Ernest scared Stupid review please
Love it!
on January 1, 2025, which is next year! this short will be entering the public domain soon! (I could feel it in my skin!)
I loved this film, now I have to watch it again.
Two of the stories in this movie sound familiar but I’ll take the Backson over the Skullasaurus any day
I just recently saw this movie on DVD for its 30th anniversary this year and after buying it at Mckay's Used Books in Chattanooga along with a Blu-ray copy of Risky Business and the DVD of the Return of the Living Dead on June 30th of this year! (no surprise the screenplay was written by the 2 guys who there first film together called Problem Child!)
I love both these!
please do a halloween review of Ernest Scared Stupid for Halloween please
I'll see.
@@sullivanbard ok thank
What more did you want from Sykes's character??? What other motive could he have? He's a loanshark, of course his motivation is gonna be money!
the fuck is this??!!
This review is so interesting and insightful. I never paid any attention to this film when it was realized -- not big into superhero narratives or derivative stories, but having seen this review I'm interested now to watch this film. Thanks for posting this and I'll look for your Sully-ween extravaganza.
Nice One Buddy!
I bought this at Universal Studios' Seuss Landing during my Orlando vacation in 2004. (Since I hadn't spent NEARLY enough money after four days on Disney parks and two days on Universal.) I ended up loving it! Matt Frewer makes a better Cat in the Hat than Mike Myers. And that sadness on his face at the end as he recites "How Did It Get So Late So Soon?" with Kathy Najimy is so genuine (remember, this was made only a couple of years after Seuss' passing) that I couldn't help but wonder how much of that sadness came from Matt-as-Cat...and how much came from Matt-as-Matt.
I love this
