Does SeClear need to be applied at a minimum dose to be effective? I'm sure there is a recommended dose, but if I just try a gallon when the recommendation for my pond size is 3 gallons, will i still see results, even if they aren't as good as the recommended dose would do?

Found some today while in a nature preserve in Florida but was slightly confused by the structure the flowers were coming out of and didn't see any bladders. I didn't realized there was a difference between terrestrial and aquatic and how small they can be. These microscopy pics were excellent and really helped me understand what I was looking at earlier. Great video.

I add copper sulfate to it in my copper mix. Works great!

How would I completely wipe this out from a small planted aquarium? none of the commercial algaecides have touched it, hydrogen peroxide hasn't done the job, decreasing light and nutrients hasn't done it I'm about to get rid of everything in the tank and start afresh but i'd love to be able to salvage the plants and hardscape..

Isn’t chlorophyll a absorbance greatest at ~450 nm (bright blue) when exposed to natural sun light. I always remember the graphs showing blue has the higher peak. I know the types of lights used can affect absorbance, maybe that’s why there’s a higher peak at the ~650nm for chl-a?

I live in Canada NB. Live on a lake and we also have a pool. I love swimming in the lake. Sometimes I worry about the water. Everyone tells me it’s fine don’t worry. I’m going to try this to make sure the lake is safe for everyone. We do have a sign saying it’s Private but we still allow ppl to swim. Making sure everyone is Safe is my main priority. We clean out our part of the lake. My dad treats the pool I do know it’s safe. Can you use the same products in a lake as you do in your pool?
