Get an pc disk. You will get an error called fearful harmony. Normal then sony and scea or scee depending on where you live. Then wait. Then you will see triangles. And then wait. And music will start playing. Thats it.

Get a sega cd disk. You will get an error called personified fear. It makes an scary sound

1:14 the ps1 is supposed to be able to recognize if you insert an audio CD on startup. this is a sign that your modchip tells the ps1 that the audio CD is a game disc, causing the error. as far as i can tell, newer or more advanced modchips can probably tell when you insert an audio CD and the CD player opens up automatically are you sure the console isnt modified? even if the CD is unrecognizable, it should trigger the "Please insert Playstation CD-ROM" error screen instead.

If anyone wants to try this game, please play either the 2011 or Sonic Origins version. The original 1993 version is barely playable.

Ngl, Sonic Blast does kinda look fun. It looks like a Flash game graphically but from the gameplay you showed it looked decent (but it was only one level so idk). I wanna try and remake it on a Sonic 2 ROM hack or something to be honest.

Personally, i don’t think the Homing Attack appearing in a 2D Sonic Game is a Problem. It works. Didn’t the Sonic Advance Trilogy have those? I find them useful in Both 2D AND 3D. Go ahead, respond if ya want to. I’m fine eighter way.
