The Interconnectedness of Humanity (Intro)

The Enneagram is an ancient system that can be traced back to the 4th Century, and the tradition of early Desert Fathers. In the Egyptian desert, without any distractions, like Internet, phones, and electricity, the people there learned to connect to each other through sitting around and talking all through the night. A luxury which our 21st century modern fast-paced lifestyle has all but elimi...

Understanding Your MBTI and Enneagram Test Results
Excellent review. Tx Martin & The Origins..
what crap Ishazco was a snake oil salesman. Why do these posseurs keep this corruption of G's system going ? None of them have the slightest idea of what they are talking about. where did he come up with this so called knowledge ? i shudder thinking of his other sources. Earth to sycophants of course there is a connection in all spiritual systems with common elements WOW what an observation
Enneagram as an cycle of a process or development as a octave.
I am 41 and I am just now finding this video. This has helped me so much to learn about myself. Thank you!
Claudio Naranjo admitted in this video that the ancient origins of the Enneagram were made up to make it more appealing. ruclips.net/video/wlO3KJWnNd8/видео.htmlsi=ewOpjqywVifdflea
The origins of the enneagram lie within the structure's of the human mind. We all in our own development and evolution though early stages of maturation between the ages of 4-10 have experienced coming to terms with an awareness of our three instincts or six instinctual variants our nine energies and an awareness of the eighteen egoic mind sets one of which we personify. The origins of the enneagram are as old as human experience. Sadly it is some what taboo to talk about it. Did you ever have a conversation about the three instincts with a family member or a friend? The nine energies? the six instinctual variants? or the eighteen egoic mind sets? We fear to a degree the power of our own mind and soon forget by puberty the things we had some understanding as we became a wear for the first time of these working structures of mind. We proffer an auto pilot awareness of the working of our own mind. We could teach about the three instincts or six instinctual variants our nine energies and an awareness of the eighteen egoic mind sets in primary school. That would move it from semi taboo to common practical knowledge.
Excellent lecture. Thank you.
This is a poor paraphrase of a paper by Helen Palmer and a co-author called Hidden In Plain Sight, on the origins of the Enneagram. The essay has many interesting parts and is really good work, but I think it has conclusions and works off assumptions i dont agree with. the lecturer claims evagrius figured out the types from interviewing monks - thats not true. he was recounting a system already in use by the desert fathers. this guy also doesn't explain why jupiter and saturn's conjunction would be so important to the enneagram. theres no indication the monastery gurdjieff claims he found the enneagram in was sufi. in fact, there's far more evidence in his teaching that he was more influenced by eastern orthodox tradition of mount athos.
Thanks for posting. Shannan's way of sharing is very charming
Hi. Your videos resonates with me. Are you still having lessons in Singapore? It’s been 4 years . Hope all is well.
zeptoform. youtube it.
Thank you for sharing this! 🙂
My understanding is that jung was an infj
All so true, especially the part of not belonging...at least to this world
This is very accurate
Try to change me and i will not accept you as you are anymore
I don't identify with the good characteristics of the 9's, only the bad ones lol
I identify only with peaceful.Alot of ppl tell that im calm but thats not true, there is a war inside me.The bad i got them all
I guess baseball is also super ancient probably over 6,000 years old since we've had the diamond shape for a really long time.
😂
pseudohistory... woooooo
HAhaha I thought this girl INFJ liked me because we were on the phone for 4 hrs. Turns out she just didn't know how to answer my question, How was your day?
Video rất hay Cảm ơn bạn chia sẻ chúc bài sức khỏe thành công❤
Oh you’re sooo lovely ✨
I would love to meet an infj,...we are not opportunists and we understand others.
Bring a 9 sounds horrible, like me🥲

16:20 - Open loops... wow I feel it. 16 Personalities types were researched before Elaine published her research about HSP so some points correlate. However HSP is also a biological trait which means other types according to Myers-Briggs may be HSP - Extrovert HSPs exist as well. I'm pretty sure 100% of INFJs are also HSP.
Can you overcome these stress behaviors or are we destined to continue in this cycle?
yes through equanimity and also looking outside of ourselves and our own suffering to pay attention to the needs of others and being of service to them. But I have to research more how to practically go about this.
Thank you 🙏
Not listening to what others have to say - how else would we learn and get this far in life if we weren’t open and listening- after listening - if decide if we want to take it on board - we do How can you say for example I don’t listen- when I’m on utube listening Not to be open is to be rigid -
as an infj, i never met an infj in real life :( i'd love to tho...
...or becoming a horror film writer. Welp, this sums up my stressful life!

I recently found out I am an INFJ since my professor made us took the Mayer Briggs questionnaire. My son who is majoring in psychologist also took the test, and has the same results. Is it heriditary?
I can't say as there hasn't been any official research done on type and whether it is heriditary. However, most INFJs I know do not have any parent who is an INFJ.
INFJ 5w4, no lie.
The way my life is and is going.. it will never happen.. I've already accepted it.
Unhealth xNFJs can be cult leaders and tyrants too, right?
Attachment style and neuroticism 🥰
Overall, I like and appreciate your talk. Thanks!
I completely disagree with the presenter about an INFJ response to an emergency. It can be the complete opposite because an emergency is a crisis which requires an immediate reaction; and an INFJ will intuitively assess that on the spot and act!
Thank you for this video. I am an INFJ, and I made my career switch from the corporate world to academia.
This is a wonderful overview of the enneagram. Incredibly revealing and exciting. Thank you for sharing all your studies and understanding with the subject.
😅 lol😅
Ollloppoopoooooo😅l😅plopped
he is a jerk and so sir are you
No enfp? We are infj s true soul mates. Mirrors
I woke up during/at the end of a relationship
Such a cool presentation I loooove it 🌟 😸 💞

Some people get carried away and overreact to certain things however if you really think about it, I feel and know that it’s not worth much, personally I take everything I hear with a pinch of salt and take everything in good humour so I don’t get caught trapped in a rut either.
I feel like one shouldn't feel like they're not complete without another 🤔. It leads to a chase of finding one that fits that jigsaw piece to fit _your_ puzzle. It should be finding the one person whom complements you as you complement them. Whichever area the person is the least strongest in, you can help them with that and the same in your case. In short, both are inspiring each other to be each other's best selves and hype beast, whether they have someone cheering for them or not. It's about growing with each other and building a strong fortress-like foundation. Of course, not all days spent will be all sunshine and rainbows 😔.
Great video. ENFP here.
I believe this is as interesting as I think it is but im just not receiving it right from ole boy.
I am my own soul mate. I don't need to be in a relationship to be whole. I'm more whole on my own than with someone who will need me to give up a part of me to satisfy them no thanks.
