Not the grain quality rapping my ears.

I like the grit at the end. Something I never heard in her voice before. I still feel performance wise she needs to get over this fixation/complex about her appearance especially facial appearance when she’s singing. Once upon a time she didn’t care about her facial expressions ; the outcome was a great vocal performance . Somewhere along the way, she feels she is giving an ugly face when singing emotional songs; which could be the reason why she sings very few of them. Even with this performance, the camera panned away when she started to sing the emotional part at the end of the song; more likely per her instructions. One can’t give their best vocal performance, if one’s mind is focused elsewhere. Mariah Carey Focus On The Song And The Lyrics And The Music. Not Your Face And Ensemble. Also put down the booze. Especially before and during a performance.
