You are a legend! Thanks for the tip. I have been struggling with it for a long while
Thank you for watching and commenting :)
Whats the program for this homie? I saw it in a video the other day and forgot it immediately and want to make my wife a gift of our family
If you want to make this with your own picture you will have to buy program called Hueforge
The video was really helpful.Thank you
Thank you for watching and commenting, that is also helpful for the channel
@@bl4de938 Can you make videos about different programs and how to use them and stuff? beginner tips? I got my first printer like two weeks ago.
Half of this is this cosmetic
Thank you for watching and commenting, it's helpful for the channel
Motor Cover is bad idea because during printing step motor heated up over 50 C. I'm to lazy to check it by thermal camera, but I can't hold fingers on it.
ok, then why is everything working great and nothing is melting down? 🤣
Whats Is different on the new plate?
It's textured plate that is used on V3 CoreXZ, has good bed adhesion and you can't see lines on the bottom of your prints
the spine got stuck on the left gantry tower whenever x homing
my machines a fuckhead, hit extrude and it homes then heats to 240 (i want to check esteps at 200deg C) extrudes a small amount 5mm off the bed that builds up to the nozzle then cools to 140deg C... am i missing something? this thing already prints fairly nice but i prefer my e5+ because it does what i want without all this idiot-proof crap
Seems to me you are not following steps from this video. Try to do step by step without skipping and it will be ok
Its just a start. Next steps: klipper (nebula pad), g-sebor, camera, ceramic hotend, linear rail ....
Hi, thank you for the video. I'm trying to make a single layer multicolor print and when i try to start my second color print it auto z offset on my first color. So my second color fails because it doesn't touch the bed. Is there any way to cancel auto z offset?
Not sure how to do 2 colors in same layer, i tried multicolor hueforge prints and i have tutorials for that in my channel

Nice job! Do you have a usb hub on the printer by chance? I have a nebula from my old KE but I do use the usb port for transferring g codes from orca to the printer..
I don't have usb hub and not sure if that would work

Hey I got another question about the ender3 v3 se printer should i change the settings of max acceleration and the max speeds ,because it seems like it wants sling it's self apart after the new firmware update 🤔 I'm not understanding why the stock settings are so high and I know that the models from Thingiverse and so on are someone else settings and should override the stock settings???
I use only default settings in Creality print and everything seems to be working fine, i did not update firmware on the printer itself so i am not sure what is going on.
Have you swapped out the motherboard for a quiet one or still using the stock one?
Stock one, no need for any motherboard swap on KE
How do you fix the camera? It's currently upside down and I don't see an invert setting.
Camera itself can be turned around and be placed in right position
Installed with no big issue, just longer than expected because it was difficult to insert the cable. Thanks for the tutorial. But now I have a long screw remaining, which was in the kit. You also ?
I think i have also had something left over from the kit, it was not needed for installation. I agree that difficult part of this installation is to insert the cable. Thank you for watching and commenting
@@bl4de938 I saw after, some used the long screw to put the sensor just on top of the print head. Not sure if a good idea. At least less filament left so less waste.
@@sACLeFR Ohh ok, i didn't know that goes there and i didn't see that in instructions

Hello, when I try to move extruder to 100, It starts to throw filament immediately as I move the knob, It doesn't behave like the video, where you first modify the value, confirm it, and then the extruder works.
It will start doing that immediately but just keep going until you reach 100. It will still extrude only 100mm
Could you use printed bolts and nuts?
I would really not do that, real bolts are much stronger

What is the reason for turning the spool holder? Does it feed better that way?
Before i turned spool holder in this way i have noticed spool was putting more pressure to the gantry it was pressing everything forward. Right now with this adapter and with spool spacer all pressure seems to be going straight down and with anti shake construction everything is more sturdy and spool is not shaking whole printer.
@@bl4de938 thank you. I just ordered a KE. Been watching a bunch of your videos. Very helpful.
@@jaysdub Thank you for watching and commenting, enjoy in your new printer :)
Im Jealous of your 3d printer because its fire👍(no offense)
😁
Cool mods but they aren't upgrades... every single one of your "Upgrades" in this video actually reduced performance in tiny ways. Spool spacer increased friction on spool by increasing surface contact area with roll. Cutter holder REDUCES your build Height, Motor cover DEGRADES stepper performance and will cause missed E-steps at high speeds due to overheating. your cable chains add resistance and mass to the moving mass on the x gantry and printhead. Looks cool but loses performance and causes more stress to your cable than being unsupported as your chains don't actually do any strain reduction that I see. Looks pretty Awesome though!!
You completely wrong... I have KE version with all those stuff for months and there is no issues. For example if you have SE or KE you would know that x-axis will never touch that small cutter holder in the corner because extruder is higher than that and that will not reduce any build height. Spool spacer is actually big upgrade, specially if you have your spool holder in factory spot, without this spacer your spool is always on the edge of spool holder and putting to much pressure on your gantry. Cable chains have almost no weight and they don't add any extra pressure to the print head. And people are always so wrong about motor cover, if this motor makes that much heat it would melt down PLA cover right away. Thank you for watching and commenting.
He's partly right. Even if the ~on paper~ performance hits aren't affecting you since you're not pushing your printer to it's limits, they are still not upgrades.. maybe visually upgrades but that's debatable.
@@Ozmandius Everyone has their opinion and that is ok, from experience i know stuff he said do not affect any performance.
@@bl4de938 your experience is your own and your printer is your own as I said they look cool. But none of them are upgrades. Just visual improvements. Not trying to insult ya or limit your creativity. Just explaining if your getting ringing after the upgrades it's because of the increased top mass. If your skipping it's because your stepper is over heating. And no the stepper doesn't have to get up to 160c to skip steps.. so the motor cover wouldn't melt first.
@@LeanPocketDiet Anti shake construction is not an upgrade? Rotating spool holder in other direction for less shaking is not an upgrade? Textured PEI sheet from CoreXZ is not an upgrade? Runout sensor is not an ugrade? Having a light is not an upgrade? Having storage boxes to have tools together with your printer all the time is not an upgrade? Having lightweight shroud that has a hole for easy excess to tension bolt is not an upgrade? Having a holder on the printer for most used tool (cutters) is not an upgrade? Think a little bit about type of upgrades before deciding to comment.

Best upgrade would be to move the spool next to the machine, instead of having it on the top….
Rotating spool holder for 90 degrees make huge difference and with anti shake construction (at least for me) there is no need to move spool next to the printer. Also for me space is important and this is saving me some space around the printer. Thank you for watching and commenting.

ender 3 v3 corexz is def the best ender 3 by far
Hey you again, you still wrong about that. KE is the best for the price and with less issues then CoreXZ.
@@bl4de938 what’s up man! The KE is great, but I think the extra $50 is worth it with all the upgrades you get with the corexz
@@bl4de938 love the se build btw
@@duhsq Thank you
As I watched this, I thought, it would be nice to have something like that for the Ender 3 V3 Plus. Especially that fan-blade protector at :2:10. When I moved the runout sensor to the top rail (I had to make an extension wire), I took off the PTFE tube and for the moment, during testing, I just let it hang there. I ran a test print and all of a sudden, a very loud whizzing sound. It turns out that the PTFE tube's end moved down and entered the blades of the fan at the rear of the extruder! So I need to make some sort of little protector for that. I love the idea of tool boxes on the sides. On the 3 V3 Plus, they'd have to be shorter, because of the gantry as well as on the right side, the USB port.
I have not tried Plus version yet but i am not happy at all with regular version of CoreXZ. That thing has issues and it's loud 😁
@@bl4de938 It's interesting. I heard others claim that this Plus is "loud" but it is not at all. Now, what I suspect, is MAYBE, JUST MAYBE people are referring to when you first set it up and/or run the calibration where it includes that function (I forget what it's called as I type this) where it harshly vibrates the bed and extruder to create a map that is used during actual printing... I totally forget that name. LOL Sure, at that point it's very loud, as expected. But during normal print, it's not that bad at all. At one point, after a bunch of prints, I did notice that it got a bit noisy, but I realized that the rods were dry. So I greased them and things quieted right down. As for print quality, I don't know about other CoreXZ machines, but the prints on this thing are literally the best prints I've ever seen in my life! I always print in fine mode and you can barely see/feel the layer lines. (using GOOD filament, of course). Then I did a small vase (about 120mm high) in vase mode and very fine layer height. I have it sitting in front of me right now and I still can't believe that a machine that builds object with layers can be so smooth. I liked the machine so much I bought a 2nd one and don't regret it at all. So I don't know what others are talking about with the Plus being loud. If greased and using mostly default presets it's really good. Silent? NO! But not loud at all. ????????????????
@@BlondieHappyGuy Regular V3 CoreXZ is loud for sure 😁, i am glad to hear that Plus version is better
Just have a PTFE tube and a feeder where the spool used to be. Put spools on roller bearing holders on shelf beside the KE here. Always seemed crazy to have spools on top of those weak aluminium extrusions. Also, use 3kg spools now for the black and grey, that I use a lot.
For me this spool holder on the top works great, with 90 degree spool holder adapter and with anti shake construction i don't see any issues with my prints, also spool holder on top is saving me space that i need.
Well - I was lazy - and didn’t do the gantry supports like you did - I was going to do it - but then saw the feeder idea. And, yes, I do have the space for the spools. Really like your work and ideas - as the saying (approximately!) goes - it’s about the journey, not just the destination ! Much of my printing in the last few months has been about improving the KE and the ancillaries - like the drawers and tool holders left and right of the print bed. Your vid reminded me to complete the right side one. As a nerdy old fella here, dabbling with computery stuff since the late 70s, affordable 3D printers are the most amazing development. And learning CAD a great way to keep my aging noggin ticking over ! Keep up with the great work. 👍
@@Mancozeb100 Thank you for your comments and thank you for watching my videos. And i agree those printers are amazing development :)
@@bl4de938 You’re welcome, man 👍
I took my spool holder off and bought a dry box it now feeds up into the extruder instead of being on the top
For me this is working good and i see no issues with my prints. Also it's saving me space.
Good video
Thank you!!!
What’s really weird is, I came across your channel 2 days ago when I searched about installing the light bar as mine was being delivered today (thank you for the guidance on the install) I am literally printing that light weight shroud as we speak before even watching this video like the exact same model haha. I have also added chain link spine to my cables and moved my filament detector to just above the extruder head Side note how did you get your print so smooth on the shroud mine needed supports and didn’t keep it smooth
I printed it on the side, using supports and i used 0.16 layer height
I just posted it myself, one of your videos inspired me, not many channels focus on this printer model
Glad it inspired you, i have more videos coming up about modifications on SE. Thank you for watching and commenting.

@@mikelowry2254 I am glad my video was helpful to you. I like this lightweight shroud, it's easy to print and install. I added spine cable chain and heat bed cable chain, video is coming up in next few days.
