I'm getting off of a W800 and thinking about a Trident. Reading the owners manual, it seems that the RPM drops when brakes are applied for two seconds or longer. How does that affect trail braking at higher speeds or parking lot situations?
Where did you read that ? Never noticed it but then you’re breaking anyway so revs should go down 😉

Just picked it up myself and oh my god it is fantastic. I can not get over how good the 3 cylinder sounds. Pretty fast too, I just beat a Tesla P90D back to back on this.
@@ErectileSceptile Compared to, raising in popularity, burping inline 2 engines it sounds amazing. The price for the machine you get is a bargain too in my country - compared to 125cc for example. Good for you bro, im getting kind of jealaous 😅

It's a keeper, had to trade two bikes, at 76 anything over 450lbs it a chore. The 660 is superb, extremely well built and performance is fantastic.
I'm 68 and my Trident fits me exactly after years of hooligan bikes.
"Just" a 660CC 83HP bike, but listen to that sound man! Triumph 3 Cyl. really are something else! Awesome riding too, thank you for showing us.
Sorry to say but ever heard a mt-09 with open exhaust... the same sensation if not better !
@@negenelf123 It better be for the money you for a mt09 which is much more than what trident cost. Try company street triple to Mt09. 🤡🤦♂
Thats not a stock pipe. I had Trident just flipped to new bike. I had SC on mine. But this is not stock sound!
