You will find Compliant Pro to be one of the most convoluted and aggravating pieces of software ever to be invented. The software is based in 1980s textual and data base concepts, and has no advantage to current designs constructed upon the web and related operating systems and search capabilities. The inventors seem to have taken old software and attempted to adopt it to modern use.... and the lack of modern capability and functionality, is extremely obvious. Finding Documents in Compliant Pro as akin to searching for a needle in a haystack, therefore your employees will naturally shy away from using the system. Therefore, your documents and information become stale and disassociated with your processes very quickly. Its not actually a quality tool and its far from anything that can be described as lean. ... Maybe the only positive takeaway from a Compliant Pro implementation is that when audited, your documented QMS (9001), EMS (14001), SMS (45001) etc. will disagree with stated practice, resulting in audit non-conformities, especially with your registrar. Your organization will spend vast sums of money, just to perform tasks in a very convoluted way, which can be handled much easier through an adequate deployment of software such as O-365. .. Lastly, Compliant Pro does not integrate with any enterprise (ERP) or PLM software packages, commonly deployed with manufacturing organizations today. .... What is my experience with Compliant Pro? I was trained to implement and maintain the software system, further I audited processes defined within that system for over a decade.
