A hard days fishing on slapton sands in the tail end of a storm targeting specimen fish for the slapton open! managed to come 6th with a dogfish of 1lb 13oz and a whiting of 1lb 2oz

A VERY Tough trip to chesil beach had few cod out between us along with pouting dogfish, strap eels and a smooth hound and a very moody me for a proportion of it, i do have a strong dislike for the big beach but Ive never hit a huge fish there saying that i was made up with the cod that came towards the end

Heasded out in search of a Thornback Ray or Smoothhound for the Southwest Sea Fishing League. Was a tough gig with a few birds nests and the weed & winding making the conditions tough. came away with a nice 9lb smoothhound.
