The best revenge is a life well lived. Another interesting angle was the cheater's story. This added depth to the story for me.

One of the best stories here. No simping, no "we need to talk", no physical revenge, and great ending. When Greg met his ex again at the cafe, for some reasons I wanted them to get back together, not because I like his ex but because I feel sorry for Greg being alone, must have been hard for him losing the love of his life like that. Glad he had all the support he needed after Becca's death.

From what kind of illness does she need to convalesce? Sometimes these stories make no sense whatsoever. The possessives get mixed up. At one point, he mentioned that Layla needed to consult her husband Earl. Now, if I heard correctly, Zara is married to Earl, and Earl is doing the nasty with the narrator's old lady, Layla. Why can't these people keep their pants on and the nickel between their knees?

I understand the gambling and "losing" the children's college funds. But the safer bet would have been placing the money in a trust. Spin it as "just in case" the worst happens to the mom and dad, the children have something fo after high school. Also of you are gonna do the gambling routine, make sure you pick up bad tickets. Plus you have to find some shady places since most good casinos have used cards to track where the money goes. Plus they have security cams everywhere and love helping the police find cheaters.

I've listened to this story a long time ago and still found it a heart-wrenching story where sorry and regrets came too late. Really a good story.
