Zyprexa can cause an increase in appetite. It can cause weight gain. Seroquil and other meds like Resperidone can cause weight gain also.

This makes me really sad. I remember donating to your fundraiser, and you were doing so well. It is really sad that you're letting this institution and medication control you. You have such a bright personality and such a future. Please don't lose it. You are still so young and deserve so much more. I'm sorry, but I can't read or watch your posts anymore. Hey Sam, it's Katie R. Great job on your ASL! I wish I lived closer so I could teach you some more like the signs for blind and deaf. I don't know teacher but I know class and financial aid office. I remember when I took sign class in college, I made the teacher laugh but also groan because we were asked to make a sentence with signs we'd learned so far and mine was, "There will be no class today because Joye is sick."

I really like what you have to say and agree with you on some points, however, here's where I need you to understnad something. Please realize that the Governor is responsible for ensuring the budget works for everyone. Tax payers are the ones paying for all of these services. Money is not unlimited and the government can not nor should it do everything for everyone. Some lines need to be drawn to make it work for everyone. I really hope you will reconsider the statement you made about the Governor ruining your life. He is not ruining your life. I believe you are limiting yourself to institutions and you have a ton of potential. You are smart and wise and have a lot to offer this world. I strongly encourage you to keep doing what you are doing advocating for people with disabilities, but please remember that money has to come from somewhere, and it comes from our nation's tax payers. The economy is struggling right now. Also in regards to painting Friedman Place, sighted people go there. Just because we are blind does not mean we should not care about how things look. Please don't take this as harsh, but I believe you must view all sides so that you can accomplish actions that you want to see happen.
