Christmas Quilt using 3 one yard cuts of Flannel
Great information! I’ve not sewn a lot with flannel but would like to. You’ve inspired me to try my hand at sewing with some quality flannel. Thank you! ❤
Just found you 😊 I really enjoy your videos! I’ll be watching for your future posts. ❤
Is there enough fabric to starch?
This is my first time seeing your videos. I think you girls are adorable. However, I don't mean to complain, but I might watch again if you ever get to talking about what you're actually doing. You're making some kind of block, but you're gabbing away like you're not on camera and not saying anything interesting. Aside from sharing your opinion about quality flannel, you're not saying anything of actual value. I'll take a look at another video or two, and I hope there's something educational. Otherwise I'm out.
I appreciate the information but don’t talk over each other and don’t keep repeating what the other person says,…. Watch and you will see what I mean
When does this start? Today is Saturday September 21
Some really gorgeous work ladies! I can tell you're sisters (not just your looks), by the fact that you each interrupt each other and the other just goes on as if it's expected. However, it was hard to hear what was being said as one is speaking over the other. I wonder if there are options besides batting for a summer quilt for the bed or just that hot-natured sleeper? What did our grandmothers and greats do? Did they use something different that was more lightweight?
How lovely! 💖Just found you. Gorgeous twins. I always wanted twins! Fab that you both love the same craft! 🥰
Hi ladies! Do I need to add stabilizer to my Woolies layer cake? And should I use 1/2” seam instead of a 1/4” seam? Thank you
I wonder if you could use the left over little bits of ric rac for a scrappy look?
That would look so cute!
What size ric rac are you using?
This is 1/2"
I love this idea! Thank you.
How do a baingolow
I really wanted to see this video but the constant interruptions between you two are extremely annoying and make it difficult to follow along. Maybe it would be better if just one of you made the video.
I see this is 3 years old but I’ve not seen you before. You guys are fun and creative!
Thank you this is going to help me with my quilted witch.
Oh btw! Red is my favorite color and it goes with everything in my opinion😊
I agree...quality is what I go for. I am now planning a quilt for my woolies. I have been collecting woolies for several years. I love it. Glad I found you ladies! Thanks😊
Thank you for this! I was dreading squaring up my first quilt.
How many houses did you get?
So glad to find your tutorial. Was struggling with my Yellowstone panel borders. Thanks!
Thank you! I'm a first-time quilter and this was exactly what I need to know to properly prepare it.
That's beautiful
Thank you. I’m having trouble trying to figure out a way to attach ric rack without the stitch being so visible. So I like your technique! By the way! Nice channel you’ve created. Lots of fun and motivating to sew!! 🧵
where can i find the pattern for the elephant square?
Love the tree skirt! Could I use a layer cake?
Thanks for this tutorial ❤️
Just love your village quilt
I just got a pair but can't open them. Is there a way to open this tool?
I want to make a dinosaur quilt as a surprise for my 18-year-old daughter. For all the help and the way, she takes care of me when i am sick and when I am having a rough or bad MS day, but we are on a very small, limited budget (due to not being able to work because of my MS)
Thanks for the detailed tutorial 😀, I had questions of to quilt w/batting or not. Also if not could I use the SF101!! You covered it all !!
I generally hate ric rac, but I love your idea!
If the threading is correct but still messing up, take a brush and sweep out the tension discs and the feed dogs or use canned air. Flannel leaves a lot of lint behind.
This is the worst tutorial ever
thank you
Hi, I learned a lot from this video, however, I am glad I trusted my instincts and tested my batiks before using them. I was tempted not to after watching this because my batiks were all Hoffman which you feature in your video although you never mention them by name. Anyway, several of this name brand, good quality fabric bled significantly when I tested it so I went ahead and treated it with Retayne. I can provide you with the Hoffman color codes if you are interested.
You are too far away from camera
What is the size of the backing and batting.
The backing is 13x17" and the batting is 12.5x16.5"
Good video and info but wish you wouldn’t talk over each other.
What is your binding width? I do. All bindings like this too.
I primarily use a 2-1/2" binding
I was gifted quilt in a box from Vermont Flannel co from a friend. The precuts are 4”square. I have never sewn on flannel. Any tips? I was thinking of a rag quilt or a small quilt for my snauzer. It doesn’t have stretch like some flannel.
So excited to make a safari quilt with this fabric! I am also wondering if there is a pattern for the stuffed elephant in your table? So cute!
What width binding do you use? It seems to me it might need to be a little wider to wrap around to the back because of the added bulk of the ric rac.
a 2-1/2" binding works well when attached at 1/4".
Question. Live in Hawaii, no need for quilt with batting. Question can I do “quilt as you go” style with no batting?
Ya'll would have a great video if both of you didn't talk at the same time. It is extremely hard to watch!
i think yall sound like me and my sister. was a helpful video
Great video! Thank you.
Love it thank you! How about glueing it down first? I haven't used glue on anything yet but this could be a good place to try it maybe
Go for it!
I really want to try this, TFS! 🥰
Great video and so helpful. Thank you! Pam Miller in Alabama
