With something like that is it considered permanent and required a permit to be pulled. My property taxes have gone up consistently every year since I bought my house four years ago. From inflation or because I put in a pool. I don’t want to have to pull a permit for anything else.

Looking to change my pergola to this

We had the house inspected before we bought it. Five years after purchase, the Souris River flooded and we were in the middle of it. During our rebuild, we discovered that the 'attached' garage was not, the back windows were not attached to anything except the siding, electrical wires were wrapped around the water pipes in the BA, and the beams that made up the basement ceiling/main landing floors were 'sistered' but the 'sistered' beams were actually cut away completely. Idiots, builder and inspector.

Maybe it's a bad idea for the only requirement to be a framer in America to speak Spanish?
