It was not expected to release yet, but yes it is the same as designer in PowerPoint. It was expected to be release some time this year. Another great addition to the SharePoint pages. The Copilot integration with the text parts is still coming. Be interesting to see if they use it on image parts too.

DOes the compare option show up for excel files? Stil waiting for this feature to arrive on our tenant.

How do I turn on this option? I have already assigned the License to some users, but it is not coming up in OneDrive or SharePoint

Hi, Thanks for sharing this. This is useful but only for a small fraction of users who use Edge browser as almost 65% of users use Chrome browser for browsing internet. You can also use a Chrome extension called YT Notes generate video summaries.

it seems you can now choose an animated background and/or animated header. is it possible to upload your own animation? if so, what format should it be? i've tried mp4 and avif but neither seem to be supported.

unfortunately the translate function in Microsoft Word is not as good as the built in translation in copilot.

I know it can ususally ignore typos and give you want you want anyway - but your initial prompt said "What does the future gold for intranet...". Also, I've sometimes had success by coming at the problem from a completely different direction to force alternate behaviour e.g. "Using the information in /<File> please summarise the future trends that will impact the role of Intranet Manager". Might be worth a go!

Very timely. We're facing the same choices now as we start to roll out CoPilot. The point you make about early adopters being willing to share their knowledge is really important - both the successes and for things that maybe don't work as well.

30 seconds in top left yours says edit pdf but mine still only says open. If i click open all i get is .."Sorry, an error has occurred.".. do i have to have the paid version or something?

That works great! I tried it with two quite complex documents - 3 pages of detailed requirements and a 20 page response. A very credible summary emerged.

This solution is great and have tested it on things like word documents but will not automatically open .oft files for Outlook. For those file types, I still have to click the three dots for the pop-up menu and select open, then open in app. It will open in Outlook, but never automatically like it does with Word docs. So strange.

I am using it on daily basis. However, In some occasions the copilot refuses to interact with pdf doc. have you experienced that and by any chance have you find any reason for that happening?

Thanks, that was really interesting. We’re looking at introducing CoPilot and need to train people in effective use of prompts plus what the boundaries are of what can and cannot be achieved. Experiments like this are really useful to help inform the debate.

Copilot says Candace Owens is a white supremacist and a racist and it says that Tomy Robinson committed violence against the pimp gang he was denouncing. So, Copilot can go screw itself on a floppy disk in the trashbin. Candace might sometimes be naive and fall for some meme trends that ends up to be toxic, but that doesn't make her a white supremacist.
