Temagami - Waterfalls and Portages
Просмотров 413Месяц назад
We head into the interior of Temagami by way of Sandy Inlet and paddle and portages our way up and down the North and South channels of the Lady Evelyn river system. A challenging loop with goat like trails, littered by big boulders and low water, but in the end the beauty of Temagami is well worth seeing and throw in six waterfalls it's a paddlers paradise. Not the Canoe Trip I Planned / 6 days alone in South Algonquin in July

Down the Tim / A Six Day Solo Canoe Trip in Algonquin Park

A Redemption Trip, I spend six days doing a loop in Algonquin Park using the Tim and Petawawa Rivers. Early May or fall is the best, if your not anxious then your really excited either I think. I've learned to control that anxiety and use it and just trust your skills, people are much more capable than they think. Algonquin is a good spot to get that confidence up, well mapped, marked portages, but don't get me wrong in the interior it's very rugged. Cheers
