The scene where the crew sang theyre last song even when they were dying, where it first began with a lively chorus and how, at the end, Brook was left the only one playing the piano, all to fulfill a promise they weren't even sure they'd able to fulfill seriously broke me. I think that was the first moment out of the entire show i actually let out tears.

One thing you don't do to a man, is your never talk about his Mother. I absolutely hated this man at first for being a villian, and the more I saw his character grow in Season 1 I was sad to see him die, and not make it to Season 2. But boy did he go out like a true badass at the end of his character arc. He is by far the best written character in Vinland Saga anime (so far) and I think he was the one character that left many of us on the edge of our seats, to see what he was going to do next. What an amazing character for the little time we got to know him
