Just found this almost 2 years later! I loved the whole presentation and agree with the points made on self-awareness and "power" skills. Lakshmi's use of paying attention reminds me a bit of mindfulness - also a good tool for raising self-awareness. I also loved the suggestion to ask what do people assume about you - I'm going to use that one! Tomas is always so knowledgeable about the science and makes excellent points for the use of AI and algorithms. Of course, if AI/algorithms use data based on the status quo, obviously, they will inadvertently carry over some of the biases inherent in this flawed human judgment system! But then to proclaim AI biased and throw the baby out with the bath water is ludicrous - especially since AI can offer the only hope of eradicating such biases going forward instead of perpetuating them! I loved the way he explained that and then Paul expanded on it. Great job!!
