Thank you Richard. Together with Bryan's coverage, I feel that I got to participate in a show I can't travel to.
who is swearing in the background when showing the grossular
That would be the photographer who shot the spin video. Our apologies. It will not happen again.
Thanks for chatting about what is coming up in Tucson. Good to see you back on a Minerals Live!
I wish you'd cut the chat a bit--my mailbox is too full to listen to the whole thing.
Hi Carl, Some of our viewers like it. Some use the progress bar to fast forwad to see the minerals for sale and avoid all the chit chat.
I definitely enjoy seeing the minerals, and you're right; I can move it along. Have a nice Christmas season.@@collectorsedgeminerals2042
Keep up the chat. Love it.
You forgot to say the price for the 2nd mineral. You should start off each mineral with the price, instead of rambling ...
So sorry James! It is $2,250 shipped.
JUST CAME ACROSS YOUR CHANNEL. WE WILL SUBSCRIBE. NOW TO WATCH THE REBROADCASTED VIDEO.
Thanks for watching Joseph! We appreciate your subscribing to our channel.
Thanks for posting this
Thanks for watching!
Wow, beautiful specimens this year. I hope someday I get the opportunity to visit the shows in Arizona and Colorado. Incredible minerals guys!
Hi Vince, thanks for watching! If you have any questions about the shows do not hesitate to ask.
Mont St. Hilaire, is the greatest specimen mine ever.
Will your mineral city locations be open the weekend of the Main Tucson show too?
The last official day for the Mineral City show is Feb 11th, and we will be packing on the 12th, but if there are still minerals on the shelves we won't turn you away!
Great show!
I wish this kind of thing traveled. Living in Indiana there no way I am ever going to witness things like this unless it is through video. The cost of travel like that is beyond me sadly.
The rhodo at 49 min looks like Ahi tuna 🍣🐟
And it is just as delicious!
Really disappointed to hear CE will only be on the wholesale side of the Crowne Plaza show! We have enjoyed your keystone mineral selections for years at this show.
Do encourage everyone to bring his best " ..." to the show and set up a viewer's choice. That would make a great Minerals Live...discuss the top qualities of each piece that seems prime

"Black Minerals Matter"!
The guy in the middle looks like a Canadian.
Is shipping to Canada free?
I will discount the domestic amount from the total. So basically about half of normal international.
Love watching you guys my question is how do you bring back the luster on metalic mineral like galena, stibnite and pyrite after they tarnish without doing damage to the piece ?
Hi Howie, different labs have their own proprietary mixtures for removing tarnish that vary depending on the mineral species, and locality. Note; for any mineral, removing tarnish will only restore the luster that was already present, not increase the luster beyond what it originally had. Additionally, sulfide minerals such as these will continually tarnish over time, even after cleaning. I would suggest consulting with a reputable laboratory to find out what they can do for you on a case by case basis.
Does the Zambia Topaz color fade?
Hi James. These specimens are color stable. But we do not recommend you leave it on a window sill. With time, any mineral will fade under exposure to direct sunlight.
@@collectorsedgeminerals2042 If you faceted the Zambia topaz, to make a ring. With normal wear, including sunlight, would it be as stable as the topaz from Brazil?
@@jameswelch1054 Yes
Your display at Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery was sooooo spectacular!
Thank you! We tried to have an eye catching display in the room to bring folks in. Though a lot of people took a while to get past the magnificent display that the Spanns put together right outside our room! Whoo!
@@christopherclark5615 They weren't setup when I was there. Sorry I missed their display!
Nice vid! Great coverage! I'm in the young mineral collectors group but did my own display of competitive thumbnails. (So my name couldn't be in the display- Kevin De Leon) First year doing thumbnails and I was lucky enough to take first in the Novice Adult thumbnail category 😁 Mine was a smaller case. All black background
If it's the display I am thinking of (Canadian Baryte, Mongolian Fluorite, Colombian Quartz in the front center) that was a great display of thumbnails!
@Christopher Clark that wassss mine!!! Thank youuu!
Hi , I love the spessartine garnet around smoky quartz - how much is it ?
Hi Grace, The price is $475 shipped. Please contact us using our email minerals@collectorsedge.com with any furthur questions. Thankis for watching!
Bell check, subscription check. 😸 (you're not blinking...btw
a comedy special for rock nerds - thanks for reposting this classic!
Still having some audio issues; it starts to get scratchy at around 6:30 in this video. Appreciate you guys!
Sorry about that, we are working on it.
Hey Christopher, glad to see you landed with a great high-end dealer. Now you can play with the dream specimens from the selling side of the table. Best of luck from your Gem Geek friends.
Thank you, Barbara! I'm loving it!
Congrats on your new position Christopher! Keep in touch with your fellow Gemgeeks! Cheers!
Thank you Stephen!
Those Bolivian Bournonites are spectacular! Wish I lived closer to AZ. I'll get out to Tucson one of these days.
