Hi Anne! Thank-you so much! I figured that how we respond to everything in life, including our MS, is a choice. I choose not to be sad and disappointed and bummed out and upset all the time. ☺ I'm in Maryland, near DC. Where in Texas are you? Years ago, I used to travel there for work quite a bit. ☺

I am in the suburbs of Houston. I see my positive attitude as a gift from God... so many things to be grateful for!

MATT Z ~ SO sorry I just saw this. I was holistic before Lemtrada. I was determined to prove to many doctor that I would be a rockstar patient & follow her instructions to a T. Last year, I didn't even think about taking ibuprofen for headache & body aches, because I never did that. 😄 I hope your heartburn's all gone. My husband gets it all the time, but I never had it until right after Lemtrada. How are YOU feeling?

LemtradaVision Yes I can belive it lol and year 2 will be here faster than we know it 🙌 All In all I feel pretty good tbh it's like a fight between the steroids and the antihistamine and the steroids always win. My sleep is insane 3 1/2 hours this week per night to say I'm exhausted is an understatement. Just one more day then sleeeeeeeep for this guy and tons of water

MATT Z ~ That stinks about the sleep! I forgot about that lovely steroid side effect... It's been so long since I've had them. Even with the Acthar though, I do remember now not getting much sleep, but my sleep was generally messed up then anyhow. But, I slept amazingly after it was over! Anne Marshall ~ Yay for water! 😄 How have you been doing? My nurse told me that they were finding that Months 6, 7 & 8 Post seem to be the best after R1. She said that Months 9, 10 & 11 seem to be harder... before R2. I don't think that I am at quite the same exact Rockstar status as I was during months 6 through 9, but I'm still doing really good... especially considering that I have a UTI. That has apparently affected my walking, energy and more. Now that I am on the antibiotic for it, I can already tell that my legs are feeling better again! 😃

MATT Z ~ Hi! He moved from the hospital to in-patient rehab before going back home (he's in a wheelchair, so needs more support). He did quite a bit better after going home over the next few months! He even took steps! He was very happy with his decision. ☺

MATT Z ~ The goal of Lemtrada is to stop progression, but some people do also experience improvement! That's kinda like the cherry on top of the sundae. 😎 You know, when I get bummed about having a not so great day, I need to remember that video I shared shortly after infusing, where I was SO excited about being able to curl my toes again! It is for sure up & down... we're in it for the long haul. But, with MS, it would just be downs. I am super thankful!! Ohmigoodness... your infusion is just around the corner! If you haven't already started, begin drinking lots more water to get your bladder used to the extra fluid. I need to up mine more consistently too. All the best & please keep me posted!

So sorry I missed your question... just like MS is different for everyone, experiences with Lemtrada are also individualized. This is because Lemtrada goes in, wipes out the T&B cells & boogies on out 30 days later. So, what's left, is your own body's ability to rebuild. To directly answer your question though, my MS fatigue is almost entirely gone. I am definitely stronger & able to do more. My walking... that's pretty eehh, but it generally depends on the day & the moment for me. I am very happy I infused & am looking forward to Round 2! ☺

MATT Z ~ Lemtrada is so different for everyone. I totally get it! Try not to be scared... Lemtrada has an 80% rate of efficacy! The odds are in your favor! ☺ All the best for your infusions! I would stay preparing your body for the copious amounts of water, by starting to drink more now. Stay hydrated, eat well & relax. Your nurse team is there for you.
