AWRCS Ben Franklin Range RD9 9-22-24
Holeshot was 2nd in class, then passed the leader for first before the woods. Was flowing great but couldn't get around a Vet B guy until it was to late. Tried to get around a stuck guy from the row in front of me and got smoked my class and lost a position. Then was stuck behind the guy from the row in front of me for awhile. THEN I tried to get around a huge stupid bottleneck blocking off the single track completely and did not find a way around and lost a lot of positions and time... Next year I think I am just going to run Pro class so I dont have to worry about people not being able to manuever easy trails...

Had a great race and felt great! Track was dusty and rocky but i loved it! Last lap I tried to hold back about a minute to save some energy for the awrcs race tomorrow. In both awrcs and mshs I am fighting with about 4 others for 1st place in points.

My first GNCC race! Track was pretty awesome as usual for CJ Raceway. There was lines everywhere which was awesome. Was pretty slick thanks to the rain. I had am ok first lap, second lap was unreasonably slow, then 3rd and 4th lap were pretty good pace!

Suspension was beating me up bad and when I hit the start button for the holeshot, the starter just locked up, it didn't crank. I would really like to run this track on a well setup bike. I got 6th in Collegeboy and 67th overall.

Track was pretty awesome! Some random logs kicked my ass a couple times along with everybody else but it was perfect condtions!

Track looked like a great track especially my kind of track but I have somthing screwed up in my suspension. Bike was deflecting hard off of every little thing and could not find any traction at all when I needed it. Hopefully next race is more enjoyable on the bike!

Track was annoyingly slippery and I could not stay off the ground. My Arm and Hip both were annoying to as they got tore up right at the start of the race. Ole xr100 forgot there was a corner lol.

Track was pretty slick at first. I took the first lap slow which worked out good at first as I was watching everybody around me wipe out but it ended up leading to a very slow first lap. my second lap was faster but my third lap was very fast for me as the trtack tacked up!

Track was awesome and I cannot wait to go again! All the bikes were fun but man that 350 was easy to ride fast and just felt light and nimble!

The woods was fun and fast altough dusty and bumpy and the moto track was just awesome all around! The woods bumps were beating me up but if I knew how to mess with my suspension it probably would have helped a ton!

Track conditions were my favorite and I ripped up to first or second but then my hydraulic clutch gave out.. Also had a pretty wild head on collision closer to the end up the video!

Track was super rocky and was beating me up the first few laps. I was holding a good position but there was a piece of track where a lot of people were cutting (sometimes on accident) that was saving about 2 minutes a lap. on lap 2 I should've been in 2nd but when I came through it said 5th even though I only got passed by one guy that lap. Track was slick for the first 2 laps but ended up getting nice and tacky! Track would have been perfect but it shitstormed right before the race. I think that track would be awesome dry!

Track was slick for the first 2 or 3 laps but ended up getting nice and tacky! Sadly I had a sketchy spot on the first lap which let a couple guys in front of me. Then one of them couldn't make it up a hill and dumped it on me causing a pretty good pileup. Not impressed with my finish at all after that but still had a lot of fun with the track!

@@joeisveryslow they messed with me a couple times, I’m just happy they didn’t tear off my shifter or brake pedal!
dont stay in the woods, get back on the track. Looks like you just spun out coming out of that corner and never recovered fully. Squeeze the knees! Happens to all of us.
@@travisstickells7361 yep I think it spun, I saved it the first time then it happened right after and that time when my rear grabbed it made me load the rear shock which caused it to spring the wrong way. Then when I corrected my front tire it just stuck in the ground like a pogo stick and launched me lol

@@chordle1605 in gncc I’m hardly competitive in c class, I would’ve been blown to bits if I would’ve raced the afternoon B class!
Gncc c class is basically B class in smaller woods series races
Good race, just curious is that a t-rex throttle tube And is it worth the investment?
@@Kgallagher0513 it is a trex tube! I did it as I prefer the 1/4 turn throttle and that it’s lighter due to 1 cable instead of 2. One thing to know is I don’t think you can run any kind of clamp on grips with it. I prefer glue on grips though anyways.

@@joeisveryslow not bad but I’m not impressed. I just rebuilt the forks and am doing the gncc this Sunday. If I’m not happy with how the suspension is handling the bikes getting sold and I’m buying a different one😂

Had the similar thing happen at that point. Luckily I saw the backside of those green arrows at the bottom of that hill and turned around - and proceeded up the hill with caution. My other clue was that there wasn't dust in front of us - like you had. Glad nobody was hurt.
@@philipcaudill626 for sure! Thankfully I was in get back to truck mode instead of do another lap mode or I would’ve been moving a lot faster !

@@michaelriley6324 they’re pretty awesome bikes! I will say last year we were all getting smoked by a built 110. This year we’ve gotten smoked by a stock 110, a stock mod 110 and a stock xr100 lol
was an absolute shit show i missed the turn after the jumps to but i knew it was there😂
@@joeisveryslow yeah not gonna lie that turn ruined the jumps this year. Last year you could hammer right through all three and slow down no problem. This year you had to softly jump them and still hope you could slow down enough for the turn. I was expecting there to be three still !😂

Great riding. You should not be in Sportsman class, you should be in C class or maybe even B watching you on the MX track!
@@mschumaker1 I raced B, 25+, sportsman and signed up for open. At the merp races you just sign up for as many races as possible and that was the only class I could run at 1pm. I took 3rd in sportsman and like 26th in B😂 if you thought I looked fast ulu should’ve seen me getting whipped over by the C class kids! And thank you I enjoyed the moto track! Usually I don’t feel very fast or safe on the but this track felt good!
i was just ahead of you on 40C row. I cranked my clickers in for the MX section and the woods section beat me so bad I could barely hang on. Was able to back the clickers on the forks off by hand when we went through the first scoring chute but the back end was still bouncing around something fierce. When the heck will results be up???
@@mschumaker1 yeah after my first race I softened my compression a ton but the woods were still beating me up! My rear was just bouncing around and spinning in the woods!
That course looks like it was a blast. The only thing I didn’t understand was why there’s so many people bottlenecked at the finish when you went to start the second lap? That great riding out there. Where was this at?
@@LMActionsports yeahhhh I’m not sure what was up with that. Kinda sucked because it gave 1st place a huge lead on me.. it was at western reserve bike club in Salem Ohio! Track was sweet and fast but the woods was very bumpy lol!

@@JordanLaughner156 Yeah I am they’re all my uncles, my dad and grandpa use to be fast too. Yeah I started riding and racing in the past couple years and this is my first year in the b class but I’m trying to live up to the name! I appreciate it though, you also did super well, good clean riding. Must have got by me on the first lap on the sloppy little hill everyone was crashed on. I got stuck behind people then super stuck and had to flip my bike over down the hill lol.

Haven’t got my video up yet. But first lap I was just following guys and ended up cutting about 2 to 3 miles of coarse just from pore marking. It for sure was a bit of a shit show. Glad no one got hurt in your turn around.
@@oldguyracing-crashing yep we got lucky! Thankfully it was already after my clutch was broken so I was just taking it easy and not actually racing at that point

Yeah I was pretty pissed when I went down the first time it ripped the end off of my hydro pack and dumped my water all over my leg instead of in my belly. Sad times 😂

Yep I was having a great time until all of a sudden I wasn’t. Killed my left knuckles, 2 fingers and my shoulders and decided I was better off just not riding that day😂

i was the kid in the red chest plate on the white bike this track was so fun but my wheel bearing literally fell out of my wheel so i couldnt make my 4th but i still got 3
