Great song off their latest album Miracle Mile. This is was slightly edited by me, it was too short so there is about an extra 30 seconds tacked on the end. Sorry if anyone gets mad by that.

Steps that were required to kill me... 1. Pick up a pair of dual USPs 2. Kill my teammate 3. Run about 30 yards 4. Kill another one of my partners 5. My killer needed to die 6. Spawn in safe corner 7. Throw Care package 8. Wait for care package to arrive safely 9. Switch over a couple times to the noob tube to look cool 10. Acquire Harrier from care package 11. Call in Harrier on my position 12...

That siren is so awesome... At first it's brutal and wtf but then the other instruments come in and it makes it so beautiful, I was amazed the first time I heard this

La CA-LI-FOOOR-NIIIIIIIIE
Magia... Z moją dziewczyną (aktualnie żoną) słuchaliśmy tego kilkanaście razy z rzędu
One of the most underrated songs in the world
Beautiful! Good job!
Yes!!!
Con esa canción Mease recordar mi rubia hermosa de ojos claros ya no esta con migo
Nothing could be bring me closer. Nothing could be bring me near. Where is the road I follow To leave, leave? It's under, under, under my feet. The sea spread out there before me. Where do I go when the land touches sea? There is my trust in what I believe. That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me down, To leave, believe it, Leave it all behind. Shifting the dream Nothing could bring me further from my old friend time. Shifting the dream It's charging the scene I know where I marked the signs. I suffer the dreams of a world gone mad I like it like that and I know it I know it well, ugly and sweet, I temper madness with an even extreme. That's what keeps me That's what keeps me That's what keeps me down I say that I'm a bantam lightweight I say that I'm a phantom airplane That never left the ground. That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me down, To leave it, believe it. Leave it all behind. Lift me, lift me, I attain my dream. I lost myself, I lost the Heartache calling me. I lost myself in sorrow I lost myself in pain. I lost myself in gravity, Memory, leave, leave. That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me down, To leave it, believe it, Leave it all behind. That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me, That's what keeps me down, To leave it, believe it, Leave it all behind. Lift my hands, my eyes are still, I'll walk into the sea Shoot myself in a different place And leave it I've longed for this to take me, I've longed for my release I've waited for the callin' To leave, leave. Leave, leave. Leavin', leavin
Jus sayin
Steady repetition is a Compulsion Mutually reinforced
Found this song when i was about 8 yrs old, in the movie "life less ordinary" got it stuck in my head ever since..... Its been 16 yrs for crying out loud!
the best!! pozdro from poland:)
No doubt when Berry wrote this song, he knew he was going to be leaving REM. That's what the song may be about.
Bill Berry, Mike Mills, and Stipe all had health issues during the Monster tour, and I think that Berry and Mills essentially chronicled some of those issues in this song.
I wonder if Bill Berry was feeling suicidal when he and Mike Mills wrote this song!? The lines about shooting himself and walking into the sea gave me that impression. (I heard that Buck and Stipe only had minor roles in writing this song.)
the music is perfect
My favorite song off of New Adventures, if not my all-time favorite REM song. I especially like the siren sound and the electric guitars.
Thank you SuperDingus, you made it so easy to find.
"I suffer the dreams of a world gone mad---I like it like that and I know it"
"Come with me, come with me... into my dreams....."
Good as the old years
Celestial bound ...
Truely amazing track with unlikely siren sound running through the song... really kicks!
I remember hearing this when I was 7 years old in 97 (my mum was a big REM fan) and I loved it then. I then forgot all about this song until last year when I remembered the "REM song with the siren on" so googled that phase and found it again...I was so happy to find out that I still loved the song 16 years later
I googles the same thing! This song is so nostalgic! My dad used to blare this in his van with the home theater audio system he installed in it. Probably has something to do with my hearing loss now... But he always used to call this "the mellow song" because the siren sound surprised the crap out of me and my sisters. So good.
You are as old as my parents and I love that song too.
Fucking incredible from start to finish!
Still love new adventures, one of my favorite all time albums. How the west was won.awesome song..
i love that film
This song was used in a great scene in the equally under-rated movie A Life Less Ordinary
"charging the scene" best rem album period.
I love the guitarsound at the beginning! awesome!!
reminds me of my decent in alchahol induced hell......
"shifting the dream" best r.e.m. song in my opinion
One of my favorites.
fantastyczny utwór
9999/10
LOVE this song !!!! yes
LOVE this song!!!
It was indeed written by Bill Berry. Some says that the alarm could be an approximation of his brain aneurysm (not sure of the orthograph, I'm not english).
Love playing this song.
The Solar panel’s shining face Is smiling back on me Twisting off into the Sun It’s okay to be lonely All my missions float away I never train too hard I'm so caught up in the tree of stars Falling in my backyard
