ok, ill do my take on this so i would say blender is good and easy for posing (because of ik and other), good for smooth animations, and its difficult to actually achieve and learn about making good animations, moon animator is good but hard for posing (no iks), its mid for smooth anims, but good for non linear anims, and it has a easing style which roblox coding doesnt provice (OutIn) Overall blender wins (in my opinion), But it comes with its difficulties, its hard to learn. I used blender before switching to it, mainly for 3d models and others (which i did bad at it) but, when i switched. i was the worst with moon animator 2. but when i actually switched, its like i suddenly could make the smoothest animation possible, but at the same pretty bad, i got into learning techniques and practicing and i could say in mid on animating in blender, i would recommended switching to blender if you are good, or bad in moon animator, if youre bad with moon, then you might need to practice if you want. if youre hood with moon, if you dont like how you animate, you can practice if you want. anyways, my rating moon animator: 8/10 blender: 9.75/10

Technically It’s a tie because if you’re good at easing or at the value of moon animator it would look awesome but in blender it would make the easing awesome automatically so blender is easier and moon animator is complicated but other people use both

That's why blender animators use graphs not the action editor. Even if you spend more than 1 hour on an animation, you can do it way faster with graphs with a better quality!

I always see people comparing Blender to be better, but in all honesty its an old software and it is way too complicated. I understand it looks good, but Roblox's studio engine brings a lot more to the table in my opinion.

I actually recommend both like for example if ur new to animating I'd choose moon animator but,for a animator that's very good at animating I'd recommend blender

Btw no offense if you hate moon anim but you can literally recreate the same blender results with the same moon animator anim. I think repeat spamming the keys I say in the following order : option and f (pressed at same time with M)

as someone who pirated moon animator and deleted blender, i can relate that blender is advanced suffering to me and moon animator takes time to learn but is easy once you get to know it very well (unlike blender would have to take you 2 fucking weeks of non stop learning 💀) Btw I forgot to mention that you shoulda eased less frames in moon animator 2

honestly, i think this comparison is just unfair, you spent 3 seconds on moon animator, but like 7 hours on blender just because you use blender more than moon animator

moon animator is simpler and easier to understand but takes a while to get good smooth animations blender is more complicated and harder to understand but you get smooth animations off the bat it depends on how much time you want to dedicate to animating so

hard work=good result

Moon anims win u gotta change some stuff it what pmdamin uses and the other short animates people only few use blender you just aren’t using it fully right

bro animated in moon animator for 7 minutes and animated in blender for 14 minutes💀 of course if you animate longer the finished animation will be better plus animate in moon animator for 20 minutes my animation will be better than yours and yes i like yapping💀💀💀

The only reason why it’s bad is because you didn’t spend the time adding in easing or more key frames, or putting in more effort for that matter. I feel like if you actually put more effort into both, it would be a tie or Moon winning. I’ve seen lots of AMAZING moon animations that put Blender up for its money quite a lot.

Dude tbh, i literally used moon animator and it wasnt working for me, it was really hard, so i used blender and just 1 week and im starting to do some decent animations, and also i dont like moon, cuz i dont like how roblox studio works to move cam, e.t.c.
