paint job is a bit rough, but what a great mod. What did you do to the front intake? they look like solar panels. I had two of these when I was an Airfix geek as a kid. You need to add the winch next.

really looking nice, the concept is much as my own layout. Where you have the third platform, you might be better off with an embankment and a path which will allow you more modelling options.

It should be noted that the layout on display this August in Chester Cathedral is not the full World Record Layout from the NEC in Birmingham. The Cathedral layout is around 64 feet long overall. Making Tracks 4, Watford Junction at Chester Cathedral. Opening times. August 1 to August 31. CLOSED ON SUNDAYS, & Friday August 16. Open Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm Saturdays 10am-4pm 🐉🙋‍♀️

looking good, regarding the length of the train, you can stop the train and making the rear coaches stop short. This does happen on some mainline stations. Gleneagles being one in the Highlands
