I came across this older video today and it brought tears to my eyes. I can feel the passion and love for our God in your voice. Not many singers can convey such love. Most rely on the ability to sing alone...and that's about it.

She wants to be admired? Give advice? I doubt she would have stayed celibate in her 30's and older in this 'day of age', if she did not have an attractive man (to her) court her! She does not have life experience to know what it means to say "single & celibate". She got chased by a man, 9 to 10 years older than her, and she is generalizing " good advice" to women to what age?? There are many ladies who never get accepted, courted, etc in their life with a wholesome family or man, and receiving the 'short end of the stick' with no godly attractive men. I don't admire a lady so young like her. I was her age one time and said the same thing. Now I'm in my 40's and with health issues for many years, not to mention during my formative years also (no family) and she is telling this to older ladies than herself, who have been Christian longer than her?? It is good for the teenagers, but not for the true adults!
I totally get your point. However, it was all God's gift to her because of her passion to serve Him and she is a true child of God. And because she's such an inspiration to our younger women-to-be out there, a lot of people have now reconsidered waiting for the right time , GOD's TIME, before diving into romantic relationships and her example proved that it is all so much worth it. Sister, I want you to know that I understand where you're coming from. But you must open up your eyes to the truth that we have a great awesome and loving God the Father who can bless us beyond our expectations! Moriah is the living proof of that! You have health issues? Well, in the Bible there's this woman who suffered from bleeding for 12 years but with a single act of faith, she was healed! God wants us to have faith! God does what is impossible to a person's eyes. And don't worry, it can all be perfect. :) We are children of God. We have been saved by Jesus, and if you truly accepted Him into your life and followed Him with all your heart, life, and strength then you are automatically given a tremendous AUTHORITY in Jesus' Name over anything that is bad in your life. Call to Jesus, my sister, He will answer you if you truly, truly, TRULY desire for something. Better yet, He will show you the great plans He has for your life as what He promised in Jeremiah 29:11. I will pray for you Sister. I know you're going through tremendous stress and pressure, especially when there are expectations to meet from the people around you and from yourself as well. Awesumen, thanks for your compliment. However, reality is reality. Let's make it as simple as possible. There will be many ladies in today's day of age,( men are not excluded for I know many males who are also struggling), who will NOT find a man ( or woman), of chivalry and integrity. Good looking, good job, or not at all. People are brainwashed with what is considered to be vein and shallow. To give a guideline is one thing, but to tell people how to live and know that the person telling the story has never lived it, is something else!

I understand, but if you yourself ain't experiencing the wonderful blessings and power of God that she herself and many others have experienced then I gotta say there might be something wrong with you or your relationship with the Lord. A true relationship with the LORD won't allow you to look at others' blessings with bitterness but only pure joy for them because you won't need anything else when YOU YOURSELF EXPERIENCE THE JOY FROM JESUS. Now if you say that you're a "Christian" for a long time and still nothing changes and you're not satisfied with what you have then you're certainly looking at the wrong direction and not to GOD. I know someone who's way beyond 40s, a TRUE CHRISTIAN and is never complaining about not having a husband. Instead, she continually boasts about how great God is in her life and is more than satisfied with the love and comfort she receives from the LORD... Something MORE THAN WHAT A HUSBAND CAN GIVE ANYONE ELSE. So stop pouting and seek JESUS FIRST WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL AND MIND, and then you will experience His unbelievable peace, joy and blessings. :) If this have offended you in anyway, I'm sorry. But THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE. So don't be satisfied with what your life looks like today because there's so much more of what God wants us to experience if we only ALLOW HIM. Yes, "allow Him." God wants to be part of our lives, the only problem is us who constantly ignores Him. Most of the time, we're not even aware of it ourselves.

No on in scriptures used something worldly and put Jesus name in it. Cain tried to offer up something of this cursed world, the ground which was cursed, and his offering was not received.
