Our featured mamas come from colonies and/or are boarders of pet parents who love their girls but need a safe, judgement-free space to have their babies and return home spayed to live the rest of their lives kitten-free.

Every one of them is the most beautiful cat in the world ! Hope they find their loving forever homes soon. Would adopt each one, but have reached the maximum number of furry friends i can take care of and watch from germany.Good luck !

We are up in Sudbury, Ontario in Canada. If memory serves, Sudbury was the nickel capital of the world until the 80’s. I’ve heard of Nickel City dogs and was surprised that they are not based here when I did my research. Welcome! Watch along with our adventures! I like to feature our northern Ontario world along with the kitties. We are the newest rescue in town, the only one who does TNR and is boots to the ground with the people. Everything is still very small so the premises is my house, the number is my own personal number, and am waiting for funding to build the website 😢. However, we have a Facebook page under the same name.

THANK YOU Dawna for all you do. Thanks to rescues I see a light in the darkness. The pet crisis is bringing me down thankfully I feel a little bit tougher everyday. Rescue work is NOT for the weak!!!! You are awesome 😎👍🏼

Was a bit mean how it seemed like the kittens were dumped on the blanket. I would have treated them more tenderly.
You should see how mamas treat their babies LOL that little tumble was nothing. Sometimes they’ll still be attached to the nipples when mama gets up to walk around and get whacked by whatever she walks over and if she decides to jump… will fall off mid-jump. Luckily I’ve not seen that happen with these guys but kittens are physically VERY resilient.

@@sherryroberts7716 very welcome! I greatly appreciate your concern. We all want the utmost safety for the babies and at the time I was cursing myself for being so rough; I was sitting in an awkward position. I needed to remind myself that mamas are far rougher and the babies will be okay.
@@nickelcitycats Yes, you are right! I think I over-reacted bc I foster orphans and bottle feed (and tube fed one at one point) and they just seemed so fragile to me! Even though your mom cat feeds them, they are still work for you and I want to thank you for letting them stay in your home and taking time to video that adorable interaction.
There used to be a Foster Dad called John whose favorite quote was that kittens are made out of rubber.
