If i realized this was a cream styler, I never would have bought it. I gave it a shot due to the claims on the packaging, but I did not have a good experience with these stylers.

I like your advice except that oil does not moisturize. It does not contain any moisturizing agents especially water. Oil is perfect for sealing to protect hair from outside elements and sealing in the moisturizer you have used.
