Thanks for the video. Had gotten clever and found it on my own. Yes.. that repetitive music is horrible after awhile. Solution, I turn that level music off, then turned on an ambient Spotify fantasy style custom gamer mix full of mass different chill themes from several other games that I had created. Gotta say it definitely helps keeping your actual sanity while playing this level!!!

Far easier way: Pick Yuffie. Lock on to Mindflayer and press triangle, run around the edge of the arena, when triangle finishes, press again. When possible use doppelganger and limit break, if needed, heal. Done.

Yuffie date is the funniest most wholesome date Aerith's still the best tho

Okay but like. Aren't the trials supposed to be memories of what happened?? It feels really unnerving (in a good way) that Nero is actually changing the memory here. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree here, I need to verify this, but the fact that he "changes his script" makes me wonder whether or not he was aware of the trial somehow...? Or maybe none of the trials is accurate, who knows... *Edit* Barrett's trial seems to suggest that the trials aren't true memories, but admittedly we've got no way to really compare it to his actual past?

I saw another method where they used a full team but made two of them into frogs to distract the two brain enemies. It was very effective as frogs they couldn't damage the enemies much and they also couldn't latch onto them in frog form and explode. This person also used Barret as the main to attack the Mindflayer.
