Doesn’t Biden focus on problems, stopping the spread of covid, helping Americans with the stimulus program after income losses, fixing our infrastructures, highways and bridges for delivering inventory, developing secondary sources of energy, creating new jobs in climate control, and recovering lost jobs, creating new jobs with the Science and Chips bill, the Inflation Reduction Act to reduce carbon emissions promoting electrical vehicles and solar roofing panels, to discount Medicare meds from full list prices, to fund IRS for billionaire’s tax audits, to collect min 15% corp tax and not nothing from tax loopholes. Did he consider the possibility of dropping out of the race? He heard Democrats expressing both views. It’s up to Joe to decide. What did Trump focus on, cutting corp taxes 40%, waiving IRS audits for billionaires, appointing federal judges and justices to reverse Roe v Wade, not renewing assault weapons, and not having gun control laws?

I always appreciate Rachel Maddow, and in extension MSNBC, for intellectual and informative content, but man, it’s been hard to watch of late. I’m 47, and it’s tough to have this feeling of democracy as I knew it, (a somewhat average white American woman), 1:49 being dissolved from what apparently was a cement foundation of cornmeal. I imagine I’m not alone, attempting to ignore news, but please let me extend admiration for the legal gatekeepers. Thank you Rachel Maddow, and thank you MSNBC.

I have a question. So I have been fascinated by learning about the impact of high levels of lead on the development of Silent Gen, Boomers, and Gen Xers. Studies have shown people who had higher lead levels as children have lower conscientiousness, higher risk taking behaviors, higher levels of narcissism, and problems with interpersonal relationships. Is it possible that the world today is partially impacted by several generations being exposed to levels of lead in childhood that would be considered extremely dangerous today? Is it possible that younger generations, who have been exposed to much less lead, are simply groomed by older generations to behave in maladaptive ways? Is it possible that eventually some of this behavior might cycle out once these impacted generations die off? I am not trying to start a fight. I am really trying to find better ways to be and do in the world, as an elder Millennial, and it's bizarre to watch my 'elders' get older and behave more and more antisocially and cruelly. And since they're still in charge of virtually everything, is it any wonder things are so bad?

It’s unbelievably dangerous and damaging to replace neutral leadership roles in a democracy with partisan people!

Garland says vociferous arguments are fine, but democracy can’t survive with death threats and violent rhetoric. He dedicated his life to the rule of the law because 2 of his ancestors have died from the Holocaust. It’s important for the DOJ to protect each other from violent rhetoric, for people to be civil and loving, though arguing as vociferously as they chose, but not sprouting out political violence and death threats!!

Does violent political rhetoric lead to political violence? Did we see and hear in the news what Mitt saw before January 6th. Did Mitt text Mitch about the pending riot? Was there an answer? Did we see talks about the national guards for J6? Did we see DJT calling them off? What did happen? Can we stop violent rhetoric before it escalates to political violence?

McCarthy was successful in bringing Hillary’s polls significantly down in 2015 just having the Special Benghazi investigation for false news. We see the GOP pattern to bring down their opponents with falsehoods, such as the immediate and continuous disparagement of Joe with every conceivable fault to reverse the economic news recovery congratulations on the first anniversary of his presidency toward winning the midterm election and a possible second term. We see the corporate financial statements and the induced inflation to counter all the legislative increased job successes of Joe/Democrats for larger economic recoveries.

It was the summer and fall of 1964 when I was working in the Anza branch of the SF Public Library. I was the only Asian American working with the white staff of British and Russian descent. The adult patrons were mostly Russian descent and the children patrons were mostly Asian. One day a Russian lady came over to the front desk and said to me I had no business working there, stealing jobs from the Russian community. Some of the staff heard it and said nothing to me. I accepted it and didn’t complained to my family, friends, or my church. I had belonged to the youth group at a Chinese Church, having fun activities, singing in the choir, studying the Bible, listening to devotional topics, and answering my spiritual questions on creation and evolution, and whether faith certainties depended on emotional highs or not. They had a young adult fellowship helping our group advisors. Those friendships, care, and connections kept me free of upset from racism. On the bus to college, I saw the same lady at the library come up to me saying the same racist words to me. People on the bus said nothing to me; my face was really red. I realized I lived in America and it’s normal. Because of the love I received from family, friends, and my faith, I forgot about it, except when the topic of racism was mentioned.
