My sister brought me a bowl cozy. I LOVE IT! I use it almost daily. A couple that fit serving bowls would be great for the dining table. Making a set in various holiday and seasonal prints for every occasion would ne a fun gift to make and give. Placemats and napkins to match. Or aprons, pot holders and kitchen boas.

I make a fleece blanket that's super simple. It can be cheap if you shop the fabric sales! Get 4 yards of fleece (2 yards for each side) can be 4 of the same, or 2 yards of two different ones. Square them up, and even them out with each other and cut off selvedges Sew together right sides together, leaving an opening to turn. Sew opening closed, and sew a little border stitch around the edges to keep the edges nice, and you're done!

I can't understand what you're saying in the tutorial on what kind of canvas you're using for the lining. I understand that you're using waterproof cotton for the exterior?? I really like the process that you used to put this together. It is the best tutorial I have seen so far on how to do the boxy bag with no unfinished seams.

So cute Brittany! I made 30 or so for family and friends this Chrstmas. I cut them at 13 x 9 with 1 1/2 boxed corners. They are perfect. I did find that drawing the corners in and backstitching at that point stopped the seam from coming undone. :)
