I'm not an expert, but having lived on a property that used collected rainwater I know of a couple of tricks that are can be used to keep the water quality higher: 1> Don't have the output pipe coming from the very bottom, because is there is any heavier than water material that gets into the tank, it will come out too. For similar reasons don't have it coming from the top (not that you would be!) 2> Have an overflow pipe that come up from the bottom of the tank. This way any sludge on the bottom of the tank will be washed out when it overflows. 3> Make sure no light gets in, this will mean that any botanical matter cannot photosynthesise and survive (slime etc) (I suspect the one in the video is light proof, but it doesn't specify this) 4> make sure the tank has mesh over air holes, to stop mosquitoes getting in and laying their larvae.
The incoming pipe to the septic tank should be a "Tee" and not an elbow, to allow the adequate ventilation of obnoxious septic gases through the house vent-thru-roof or VTR.
interesting... bet it works as well as the septic systems in the united states, but because our country wants us to pay $10,000 to have someone else do it, it wouldnt be up to code
The couple's smile at the end was priceless. Especially that of the woman. She will have an easier life now!
Following some of your procedures ruclips.net/video/hTMtdwm8sC0/видео.html
Fair doos, clever little buggers 👍👍👍Not my cup of tea, I prefer sitting.
What would be wrong with the angled pipe being placed in the second chamber?
I'd love to add captions to this video. Please let me, I will happily do it!
