Lightsaber Effect Tutorial **Super Quick and Easy**

In this video, I show you how to quickly and simply create a lightsaber effect using a brightly colored stick and chroma keying ("green screen"). It can be done in just about any editing software and with minimal effort. I made this last year after seeing Spiderverse. I was just curious how this would look adapted to live action. The effect on the eyes could also easily be used to create the "instant kill mode" eyes from Homecoming. Hope you like it! Let me know if you want me to do a tutorial!

This is a fun little VFX thing I did in After Effects a while ago. The bow I used in the video is a mongolian recurve bow I made from a PVC pipe using a heat gun. It's actually really phenomenal. I think I'll probably make a tutorial on that bow someday.

Another in my chain of little experiments and such. the exposure of the footage makes it a bit harder to blend reality with effects, and when it was (somewhat) done, all detail from the ship is left unnoticeable. I have more footage with more even exposure, so there's more to come (eventually).

I just love the look of everything after it rains. So this was just a fun little test I did. I didn't end up putting in all the effort I normally would to make the foreground and background match, so whatever. Again, I made this with no intention of posting it so I didn't really plan to complete it. And yes, I did notice how far it is from being to scale. The next one will be better.

This is not a great example but I hadn't planned on posting this, so I would've otherwise made it better.
