I know people like to talk about how much you practice and how you practice, but there are also genetics involved and it’s ignored for the most part (teachers don’t want to admit that for obvious reasons, and we don’t want to admit it because it means we’ll never be as good as we want). Michael Romeo was just a kid still here and he already was better than I would be if I had 200 years to play. This is a combination of very rare genetics and a high level of dedication, but the genetics are the bigger factor IMO.

Romeo is one one of the best ever..those who really know inside guitar excellence knows this.!

This is literally one of the most useful guitar instructional videos I’ve stumbled upon. I love how everything is broken down to mostly small portions of licks but have a great application into your own arsenal of playing. Will defiantly be using this for the remainder of the year to working on my playing!

Since we aren't that fast at these scales because we don't practice 10 hrs a day, the scales get played a lot slower, and we have to add the rhythm to make them sound decent
