deeper snow and solo is the best! And of course a 800 size sled
Do you do any riding around Petersville?
You get one, and Ill ride with you guys
Looked like you guys had a good time. Nice video, I need to check out those trails
Ya, that was my first time on a snow machine. We may get one but will probably be next year . Going try to break out the atv for some winter riding though.
It was a great snow machine ride, except the cold. 🤙👌
Yes, was pretty cold. Still had fun but let’s go again with a different group!
@moosecreekkid which 360 camera are you using? And how do you like it?
I use the Insta360 x4. I like it a lot but it's a pain in the ass to keep clean when riding. I use a lens protector and it likes to fog up and allow dust to get between the lens and protector. Also not the best in the sun due to reflections. Would work better without the lens guards but I don't want to damage the lens so i keep it on.
@ thank you Happy new year
How many miles / hours are on you grizzly now?
I’m not sure on the hours and my battery is currently on a tender but I believe I have 330 miles on the quad. Only done one oil/filter and final gear/diff change so far.
@ did you do the valve service the dealership told me about when I bought it? They want $700 for the first service … seems wild to me
@ I did not. The dealership I bought my machine from said while it’s listed in the manual as a maintenance item, the valves never need adjusting that early. Sounds like your dealership disagrees?
@ that’s good to know thank you! I got a really good deal on the machine and it was a massive dealership … so they were probably trying to make their money back with the service
@ not sure, maybe someone will chime in with some more insight.
What treat should I bring on our next trip?
Something to warm you up! 🔥🔥🔥
@@love2atv wonderful idea!
What trail phone app are you using in the video?
We use the Gaia gps app mostly.
@@moosecreekkid thanks for getting back to me.
Check out the 6-ply Tusk Terraforms. I’ve been running them all season with no issues as of yet. They seem to be wearing well after almost 1000 miles of use. I wouldn’t mind living in Alaska for the riding.
Oh Nice! Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check them out!
Awesome view
Yep, Hatcher Pass is amazing!
Great video I just bought this same machine / I appreciate you sharing
Nice! I appreciate you watching! How do you like your new Yamaha?
@ I literally loaded it into my truck and unloaded it But I love the color combo !
@@greygoose4x46 Aye, me too! Grats on the new machine!
Thank you / took it out tonight It’s an amazing ride My buddy has a sportsman 450 and jumping on that then back on the grizzly… it’s insane how smooth it is! Only dislike honestly is how much I like the stock rims and how rocky it is by me in the north east lol
@ I completely understand! My wife has a 2005 Kodiak 450 with no eps and when I get on it after being on the newer 700, it feels like a rattletrap. Trying to convince her to get a new Kodiak 700 but she doesn’t ride much.
What kind of mounting stick is that on the front of the quad?
It’s the Insta360 invisible action selfie stick store.insta360.com/product/action-invisible-selfie-stick
Nice video
Gracias!
Wow nice
@@patlv2210 thank you!
Check out @quaddingsous He’s in Saskatchewan, Canada. Real funny group of guys.
As far as a snow machine, what I did is instead of getting a snowmobile, I got camso X4S tracks for my atv. You don’t have the speed of a snowmobile, but you can climb mountains. Go to places where the snowmobile can’t go through.
Oh, Nice!. We're actually going on a snowmobile tour this weekend, first time. Hopefully, I can get some footage and make a video.
Good all around tire, itp Blackwater evolution 8 ply, cst stag 6ply, maxxis bighorns original 6ply.
Yah, I’ve heard good things about both. Weight was the only thing I didn’t like about the blackwaters.
nice video. low range and dif lock are your friends in muddy conditions
Thanks! Ya, I need to use my low range more often.
Can-AM!
That quad is really nice!
Janet went hard!
Always does!
Let me know what you think about the heated grips😇😜
Will do.
Nice video
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
Yea, i remember this one. The ice crossing was bad ass
Not sure if you remember but when we came back, we went around this water. Will need to remember where that was for next trip. Also, need to figure out where that damn outer loop trail comes out. Maybe we go in from the other side.
Great video
Thanks my dude!
Hey man, love you stuff! If you wanna do a collab or something next summer, send me a message!
Oh, wow! I appreciate the kind words! Yes, that sounds like fun. Do you have a favorite trail?
@ Probably would have to be the Knik run from Palmer out to the knik glacier! Spent a lot of time out there. Haven’t been on any trails further north than Sutton
@ I saw you made a comment about kings river possibly? I spent a lot of the spring and fall in there bear hunting this year.
👍 I’ve never been but we will hit it up Kings River next year for sure. We always went past Sutton out to the Chickaloon/Glacier View trails.
@@moosecreekkid Man it’s so pretty. I wish I could post photos on here. Got lots to show ya haha
Enjoying life
Always! Thanks for watching!
Yamaha ❤
😎
Excellent riding conditions thx for posting
Thanks for watching!
Nice video subscribed 👍
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Kingd River is amazing once you get back where it opens up again.
Oh, nice! I haven’t been but definitely going to hit that and Eska Falls in Spring.
Have you ever been to the kinik glacier in Palmer
Yes, I sure have! It made my top 3 trails this year. Here is the video: ruclips.net/video/y-ao3-apvaA/видео.htmlsi=JrCPbPDAO3qFm8_4 Were also thinking of trying to go back in the next few weeks for some winter riding!
Let those quads rip!
Right on, right on 👍
Quality Content!!! :)
Always! 🤪
What’s your favorite Alaskan ATV trail?
Sweet grizzly! Thinking of getting a Kodiak 700.
You Damn Right!
Awesome video!
Thanks! We’ll have to see how the cameras handle the snow in a few weeks!
I believe this is the same for the new ones so you can go faster, ruclips.net/video/qZg8b5YaCX8/видео.html
I wonder if they have govener screw on the thumb throttle screwed in a bit to ristrict full throttle, should go faster then that
Hmm, I’ll need to check it out. While I don’t expect my 700 to be a 1000cc Polaris, I was at least able to get the front wheels off the ground quite easily with my 2006 660. I had heavier mudlite tires on my 660 and it was carbureted as well.
@@moosecreekkid yeah definatly not a 1000cc polaris but my guess is its restricted from factary just a quick adjustment it should talk about it in the manual as well I was messing around with mine,
Wow cool stuff
Thanks dude!
Is that the place on the south side that you drive down into and there’s a bridge that crosses the creek and you can see the trail running along the side of the mountain that goes back into the valley? Or somewhere different? The place I’m talking about had a for sale sign out front and said by appointment only so we assumed it was one owner and we didn’t go explore it because of that.
I believe it could be. There were 4 different paths that you could take but I didn't see a trail running along the side of the mountain.
Great video!
Amazing day as always! Thanks for riding with us!
Another amazing day! Shoutout to Elizabeth and Bill for the recommendation!
Amazing video! Thanks for posting!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
getting stuck is half the fun
Yep, I was happy that we actually got stuck this ride! We don't push our machines enough but there is always next year.
I'll ride with you guys, I have a grizzly 700 w winch
Good deal! What's your favorite trail?
@moosecreekkid their are so many, ruby lake, eska falls, eureka, bellenger pass, Yoder road.
@@Skytrekin Nice! We've yet to do Ruby Lake, Eska, or Yoder road.
@moosecreekkid let's go, should be nice tomorrow
@@Skytrekin Ah, would have been cool but we put away the ATVs for the winter. We may try to get into some snowmachines though.
Baby griz to the Rescue
LOL🤣 That's right!
What a wild ride!! Great video 😁
Thanks Claudina!
What trail should we hit next?
Eska Falls!
Nice looking fish!
Thank you kind sir!
Your dedication to farming is truly inspiring.
Thanks for watching!
