Buyer Beware. METASCAM. Sondors is an unethical company that will take your money and deliver nothing. They took my $5,800 in 2021,and in spite of many calls and emails,they completely ignored me. No bike no refund. Storm Sondors is a thief that has hurt many people and doesn't care. Don't let them do this to you.

The inlet socket for the slow charger is badly positioned. There ought to be an inlet position under the seat, or some other way of locking the cable in, so it can't be pulled out for the live end to fall in a puddle.

Aesthetically, functionally, this bike seemed like a dream come true for me: The perfect ride for a daily commute, plus maybe hitting the coffee shop and the gym on the way to and back. I was planning to buy one once I moved into a new apartment in a few months and I'm so sad I probably won't get to now. RIP Metacycle, you were too good to be true :(

I am posting again as I continue to work towards a satisfactory outcome to my purchase of a Metacycle. At this point I personally would prefer a refund to actually getting the bike, I will seek out a different way to join the green motorcycle movement while I continue to enjoy my current ICE bike (Honda ST1300 - I really do want an electric bike for commuting) Following is the cover latter sent to the Los Angeles District Attorney (LA DA), after that is an invitation to join the complaint against Sondors. If you don't want the bike to wake up, don't use the FOB. Just turn it off using the power button on the bike. I will stay quiet. One thing you didn't mention is the re-generative braking. I hardly need my brakes in most of my driving.

I notice my 2021 Zero DSR charge plug gets steamy hot when charging - the plug on the side of the motorcycle. Getting a slight burning plastic smell too. Have you noticed this on your 2020 DS? I've got 8000 miles on it and love it.

Where did you get your rear fender from ?

I was going to get a metacycle but ended up going with the Livewire One. I’m so glad I did. I still wouldn’t mind getting one of these though, I love the look

I get about 40-45 miles driving 45-50 mph. Ive got up to 81 mph. They never said 80 miles at 50mph. Going 20 miles an hour might get you close to that but who goes 20 miles an hour. Lol. You can clone your key fob with the number on the key. The only bad thing is the shocks. They can be bone shattering hits.

i recently bought one used but the battery life is extremely diminished. I'm only getting about 8 miles on a charge. Do you have any advice? I haven't been able to find any help in my area from local shops etc.

for the 14.4kWh battery S you can charge with charge tank 6kW and the normal AC outlet 1.3kW together.

Hello! I also live in Michigan and am super interested in getting a Zero bike. I dont have a motorcycle licenses though. I did some googling and saw that in Michigan you dont need a license to ride an "electric bike"....is a Zero classified as "electric bike"? or would i need to get a motorcycle license to ride it on public roads?

I’m very new to motorcycles in general. So this is a stupid question but I do accept roasts. Anyways, do you need a motorcycle license and insurance for csc city slicker?

The size of the bike and prize are also a plus..

Okay, I'm dumb, is that a charge tank you have installed as the 3rd option, I'm wanting a 7.2 DSR or S bike but don't want to spend the $2500 or so for a charge tank. Thanks!

Will it work to charge with the level 2 charger & the level 1 at the same time?

I read somewhere that you can plug in the J1772 plug and the 120 V plug at the same time, and charge a bit faster. Is that true?

I have owned my 2017 Zero DSR since March 2021. I also own a Sur Ron Light Bee and have owned that since July 2018. Having both scratches any two wheel itch I have. I never thought I'd buy a used motorcycle since my protocol was always "Cars used, bikes new." But the reality is electric motorcycles really don't have the downsides of ICE used bikes. Had the charge tank and 9.3miles on the clock; 10.4k so I test rode it and bought it. After 45 years of riding and racing motocross, desert and road race motorcycles I'll never return to the ICE world. I ride for different reasons now so the Zero fits my life just fine.

Hello Yooper buddy or lower MI buddy..im from Upper Peninsula...not to many zeros around this area ...at all...i found a 2011 Zero S for sale for Under $6,000.00 .. it has under 2000 miles on it...I was just wondering if you know if that model 2011 S Zero has the J1772 charger on it??
