Thanks for watching and for the question. I sprayed the vinyl with a temporary spray glue because my mat was not sticky enough to hold the vinyl in place while it was being cut. Hope this helps

Just in case,: How to separate move and connect letters in Cricut Design Space. One simple way to get letters closer or farther away from each other is to click on the menu at top right that says "Advanced" then click ungroup. this will ungroup your letters and you can move them wherever you want. If you want to cut out letters as one word just move each letter so that it touches the next letter then select all letters and click weld. find me catherinemaryshop.etsy.com

Hello, thanks for watching! I was in Korea when I made the video but I used a temporary spray adhesive. basically spray glue but not the permanent, just the one that says temporary.

thanks. I think I used the vinyl + setting on my cricut explorer air 2 and there is not really a font size because it was an original svg and not created in Design space. however, the height of the font is about half an inch and the length is almost 5 in which includes the space for the tree. hope that helps. the font is called Script MT Bold and I found it in Inkscape.

@@CatherineMaryShop - sounds awesome, I just may try that. this looks like a fun thing to try , I would figure out a way to just put a but of a larger space between the strips so make cutting easier for Me. I would totally use the red and green colors though but there would be a few strips I would take out unless I figured out how to change the colors a bit -there are strips that have red or green where I'd want the other color from original but make a few extra sheets and swap color locations. than there are a few strips I would just leave out. But this is a very very cute craft idea no matter what way it is.

To cut the vinyl I used my Cricut Explorer Air 2 and fine point blade set the dial to custom and then selected premium vinyl shimmer.

Spray adhesive to make it stick to cardstock. It started to peel at the edges on my previous attempts

Great idea! I tried distress ink but it easily rubbed off so I'm working on a different method to get some color on there
