Take control of your life by becoming aware #awareness #subconscious #emotions
Our perception of reality is a construct based on our senses, our interpretation of our senses, and the feelings that we decide to have based on that interpretation. We take action based on our feelings, and those actions further create events that create feelings. This is the cycle that creates our life and our reality, and our perception of happiness and success. The magical moment when we have the power to influence this cycle is in our interpretation of the event based on our senses, and before we decide what we want to feel. If this interpretation happens in the subconscious, then we have the perception that life happens to us and that we are powerless to change it.

Doublespeak: learn how to communicate indirectly #doublespeak #communication #plausibledeniability
Просмотров 502 часа назад
In certain situations it can be useful to communicate using several layers of meaning, so as to hide your intentions, have plausible deniability, make controversial information more palatable, be passive-aggressive, tailor your message to different audiences, etc. I use two examples to explain this language: the “Let’s get together sometime” phrase, and the “I’m sorry you feel that way” phrase....

Gosh, communication is so complicated! Clearly I am lacking social skills as, if someone says to me: we should meet for coffee (for instance), I take that as read. Then I wonder why people say things they don't mean, with such frequency. I only say such things if I mean them, and it frustrates me that other people don't. If I didn't really mean exactly what I was saying, I wouldn't say it. I had no idea it was normal to be so obtuse!
Communication is a tool, like a spoon or a shovel, you can use it in multiple ways for multiple things. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I wasted so much time on idealism. And the worst part is that it wasn't sold to me by anyone, I did it to myself.
I am so sorry you wasted precious time on useless ideals. But don’t beat yourself up, we don’t live in a vacuum, those ideas didn’t reach you through telepathy, you learned them from people, the media and your environment. But if you gained your power back and decided to finally see reality, that is still a win. It’s never too late unless you decide it’s too late.
1.If idealism is to propel men forward in excellence then it is to welcome but if the same is to make him idle it is rather false. 2.However a name sake religion will not yield fruit. 3. God is to him that live in Truth and obedience, the disobedient will reap the fruit of his deed. 4. The world as it is, is nothing but to make of it something is to run the course of life with purpose. 5. Often half truth is full lie.
Thanks for watching.

@@FreedomAndPeaceChris And I'm glad that you are glad.
Are you a realist or an idealist?
I might end up sounding like a bot. But for financially literate people, saving money involves investing it into stocks, bonds or other assets. Index funds are a way of getting a decent return with minimal knowledge of individual stocks/bonds. I think in America, investing is more popular so this is obvious to people. Here in Europe, people are more sceptical of investing for some reason, and property/land is seen as the only "real" investment (which is not something everyone can afford).
Those “investments” that you just said don’t make you rich because the return barely covers inflation. Stocks and index funds are the modern equivalent of keeping money under the mattress.
Thank You ,😊
You're welcome 😊

I deal with complex-ptsd and I gotta say this was really well put. Regaining a sense of self and acceptance for whatever happened & deciding a healthier response to life in the wake of traumas is key. And yep it’s one of the hardest unfair things you’ll have to do but the only real thing that can stop you from recovery is letting externalities dictate it.
I have CPTSD as well, and I feel an 8 minute video doesn’t do justice to the topic, so I’m probably gonna talk more about this in the future. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

So, your argument is that being educated is not a guarantee of being an autonomous, critical thinker (well, okay) and conclude that this means that it is designed so that this is the outcome. Back to school methinks.
Understanding a problem is a good thing, then the next step is finding a solution. With creative minds outta the box =)) Educational reform draft, developing tools for educators to directly create and implement that draft while eliminating educational bureaucrats, legal proposals for enforcement of the reform projects, something like that. But yeah, problem definition goes first. Interesting topic, thanks.
I think the future of education is home schooling using the internet, and probably standardized tests in person once in a while.
Education was created by reptiloids and resulted in Atlanta's catastrophe. People like you are going to save us.

I am very glad you like it.
As everything in the world, love is perfect and man is imperfect.
But if love is felt by people, this means love is imperfect as well.
@FreedomAndPeaceChris According to Christian worldview, the fallen nature of man is the obstruction and hindrance to all perfection. Therefore the sample of good and evil is to avail, as the sample of goodness and pain and likewise paradise and hell.
@@TheAnish01 Putting "according to" before a statement doesn't make that statement valid. In fact, anything organized religion claims tends to be false.
@@FreedomAndPeaceChris Then the same apply to your statement as well. Mere rationality has never lead man to the Truth unless it coincides with Moral worldview and it lead to the Truth of Godhood. For man has no knowledge whence he came or where he go. To state life consist of meaninglessness, no beginning nor without an end is also fallible to reason.
@@TheAnish01 Do something more useful with your Saturday, like going to church or something.
Totally true!
Thanks so much, I am glad you agree.
Have you hit rock bottom yet?
So true. If I write what I want for an assignment, I’ll get a C. If I write what they want to hear, I get an easy A. Super frustrating. I’m paying to learn and to expand my mind - yet - this is the result.
Yeah, having to pay a lot of money to satisfy a teacher’s ego and get no actual education in return is indeed frustrating.
It's a little bit cliché tho...it's been said so many times. It's obviously a plus in somebody's life to learn and know at least the basic stuff : reading, writing, counting ! And with that, nothing prevents you from thinking critically or be creative in your teen or adult years. You talk of school and teachers as if they were autoritarian surrogates...teachers get persecuted and ass whooped by their own students nowadays. Nobody ever said that what i was learning was gospel but that being said, in order to learn anything at all in the beginning, one has to give it some value and some truth...Kids aren't psychologicaly ready to cope with the idea that facts aren't set in Stone and prone to be understood differently depending on the way we conceptualize the world...plus, try to teach to a class of 30 overactive Kids, and let see what are your thoughts about obedience afterwards...you ll lose your shit in no time
It seems to have rubbed off on you. Chris is trying to teach how to think differently and you are disrupting the class. It really depends what school you went to to understand what she is talking about. Some people will disagree without ever understanding because all they were taught is what she talks about here. Like at university I studied mechanical engineering. Yet after 3 years I had learnt absolutely nothing about mechanical engineering. It was really frustrating. The purpose was literally to pass the exam, study the material taught which was extremelely basic, nothing that would have made you be able to design a car or a rocket or anything like that. That was not the purpose, the purpose was just to get a good grade and then get a good job, where one would have to relearn everything all over in whichever industry one ended up in, which would obviously not have been covered once in the course material. Employers were more interested in how well you could study, learn and then replicate what you had learnt. You could even pass an exam to some extent without understanding what you were copying. I was however quite lucky to have gone to a great school before this that covered all kinds of subjects in great depth for me to know how well students could be taught, including religion, which I didn't like too much and just made me become an atheist - because it had been taught to me so well I ended up understanding religion better than most religious people that just follow the bible like sheep without understanding the basics the bible is all about or some of the stories in the bible that would be completely illegal and frowned upon these days because they had never actually been taught the subject properly. Most religious people are completely oblivious to some of the stories in the bible and just use it as an excuse to behave in a certain way on a daily basis. Most of the time not even in a morally good way either sadly which I think should be the main purpose of the bible - to make people behave better in society and not act like overactive kids with no moral values.
Religion and the Bible is a great example, thanks so much for pointing that out.
@@tomfurmby88 Disrupting the class?! You mean engaging critically with what teacher says. Oh dear.
Most people don't want to "think for themselves". They are way more lazy than you think. And of which education system are you talking about? Depends on the country, I'd say. Obeying isn't very common at the moment in western countries. Go and ask teachers in any European country. Every society needs some rules, like rules for traffic for example. You can't go without. I don't see sheep. I see lazy people (lazy in their minds) and I see thoughtful people. Bashing everyone won't help.
Agreed - there is no use bashing education as a cry for more "smart" people - reminds me of needing to see the difference between "smart" and "wise".
"Lazy" is just an aggressive label to put people down, there's no laziness: there's a lack of motivation with multiple different reasons. Understanding those reasons leads to possible solutions, what could make society more free, happy and creative.
What is your strategy for getting rich?
Great stuff. This is why "Being Yourself" even though its cliche does have wisdom to it. If you accept that you always will be a Hero, Villain, Victim etc in someone's story it enforces you to really be confident in what your about. That's why caring about people's opinions may not benefit you unless if its constructive criticism that helps you out or your with some people you trust.
Yes, exactly, "you do you" is basically "be yourself". The only caveat here is not confusing yourself with the idea of you, which is the ego.
@FreedomAndPeaceChris True. I ain't gonna lie calming down the ego can be challenging. It can be tough because the ego is designed to protect you many cases.
I have a video suggestion, may you talk about fame and celebrity culture.
Sure I will, and I also have to do the other one you asked about infatuation and limerence. Thank you for the suggestion.
@ Thank you Chris!
Everything you're saying is true. However it's much worse. I've been studying the control system since before 911. The sheeple are brainwashed by the media, political system, monetary system, educational system, big pharma, big food industry. We're basically rats in a cage. However, the elite have a different system. Grooming their children to be in control. Like George Carlin said, it's a big club, and you're not in it.
But people also don't want to be in that club. They prefer to listen to the opinions of other sheep, instead of trying to really understand how the world works. There is no secret and no conspiracy, the truth is right in front of us, we just have to choose to want to see it.
"Live your life like you're the hero in your movie." - Joe Rogan
Yes basically. The good thing about the internet and social media is that we can spread the word.
Let me know what you think in the comments. 👇
I am from a third-world country and here we have a preconceived notion that anybody who is proficient in English is smart and knows what they are doing. It amazes me that when I find people arguing over stupid stuff on the internet and these are the people that hold the college degrees. Another thing is I have met a lot of smart people that dropped out of colleges because of circumstances and they are doing just as good but just don't bother getting involved.
That's so interesting! Thanks for commenting!
I somewhat agree with you and somewhat disagree with you. Coming to a new country is hard even if you share the same skin color as the the dominant group. They can pick out your accent, different customs and you have to do low wage jobs. But racism is about skin color. People who are darker skinned are often written-off and excluded right away. These people often have the same culture as the majority and similar education. So I don't get what you are saying.

The whole point of a nation is it about the people governing themselves. Outsiders are inherently a problem. The country is meant to work in the best interests of its own citizens. Of course there is inherent hostility. Hell even regions within a country have a tribal aspect. Just look at tribalism in football. Prople don't mind visitors so long as they are respectful but the idea that their nation is basically open to anyone and everyone is slap in the face. The whole point of a nation is a people having autonomy and control and responsibility over their own destiny. Again look at football. People who swap the team the support are see as disloyal traitors. Even though clubs sign players supporters are in it for life. You can't just stop supporting spurs and swap to arsenal.
Just cowards trying to cloak their racism in "logic and facts" when said facts are just their opinions.
Well, it depends!! U can't just say there is NO discriminatiom at all, just based on the skin color!! Of course there is !! Your skin color & your racial background can definitely help you get more opportunities or less depending in the new country (culture)u are in!! I experienced alot of discrimination & disadvantages at my work place personally!! The teamleaders were polish & they never value the work we did , just treat u like a materialistic kind robot !! I myself hate judging people in general on the outside, but secretly I do judge them the way they think, believe/ they way they behave & the value that they bring!! Thats just me 😢
At least you and your children can integrate in the future, me and my family have no hope simply for the color of our skin, and nothing else. Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

Yes, also, race is a social construct. I wish people would accept that fact. Just look at how "irish" and "italian" weren't considered "white" in USA not long ago, relatively speaking (idk if it was around 100 years ago or so)
@@AnnaSnow-n8d there are obvious very real biological differences between different populations that evolved in isolation from one another for ten of thousands of years. To deny that is insane. Hell neanderthals are even classified as a separate species even though modern Europeans and Asians have a certain percentage of neanderthal DNA. So we know there was interbreeding with a supposed distinct species. Saying something is a social construct isn't insightful or helpful.
Hmm, this might be the first video of yours I disagree with for the most part. 🤔 You did mention that this was unscripted, so maybe that contributed more to this take of mine. It seems like many opposing points were being conflated frequently throughout this video. 1.) At 0:11 “Today I want to talk about ”good” people or at least people pretending to be good.” ~ you state. [My response: Are you referring to “nice” people or ”kind” people? In this statement of yours , you seem to be distinguishing between “nice” people and “kind” people. Niceness is often characterized by the quality of being pleasant or agreeable, while kindness encompasses a broader range of behaviors that include being friendly, generous, and considerate towards others. Both types of individuals can be classified as “good people” in the sense that they embody qualities that contribute positively to society and enhance the well-being of others. However, it is important to clarify that the term “good” should not be conflated with “perfect.” The definition of good implies being desirable or approved of, which allows for human imperfections and flaws. In contrast, perfection denotes a state of being entirely without fault or defect. Therefore, while both nice and kind individuals can be considered good, they are not necessarily perfect. This distinction is crucial for understanding more complexities in the language we are currently using.] 2.) At 0:34 “I think every single human being on this planet is trying to win.” ~ you state. [My response: By ‘win,’ do you mean to survive? If so, it is very important to clarify that survival does not equate to winning. Winning refers to achieving success or victory in a specific contest or conflict, while surviving means continuing to live or exist, particularly in the face of danger or hardship. When you use the term ‘win,’ it may unintentionally dismiss the potential for win-win scenarios, which are situations where all parties can benefit. Life should not be viewed as a zero-sum game, where one person’s gain is another’s loss. In reality, cooperation, innovation, specialization, and reciprocity allow individuals and societies to create collective value rather than merely redistributing existing resources.] 3.) At 5:12 “Basically, hypocrisy is a strategy to win. Ok, but when, when you are on the other side you don’t know that. Ok, um, it takes many years to realize this, that there is no such thing as a good person.” ~ you state. [My response: Hypocritical behavior as a strategy for personal gain is overly simplistic and reductive in the context of your statement; it categorizes all social interactions through a biased lens of nihilism and cynicism. Our reliance on empathy, altruism, and even cultural norms are disregarded in this assertion, which makes it conflated and ineffective in its intended delivery of being factual information. Hypocrisy - the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense. Hypocrisy is not necessarily for truth or survival, It’s there to conceal values.]
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment. I am very happy to see that you are watching several of my videos. It's perfectly ok to disagree, we don't have to agree on everything. 1) I am referring to goodness as a moral value. The way a priest would define a "good person". Blameless, innocent, pure. Of course nobody is perfect, and that is precisely the point of the video. 2) I don't mean winning as in winning a trophy, I also don't mean surviving because there is more to life than just surviving, I mean winning as in achieving the best possible quality of life and meeting our needs. The best possible scenario is finding a win-win, but when that is not possible, our obligation toward ourselves is to defend our own interests, even if it's a win for us and a loss for the other person. Like self-defense but applied to all conflicts of interest. 3) I actually did a video on nihilism and cynicism. And altruism and empathy are only efficient and effective insofar as they allow us to reach the goal of meeting our needs. We as humans developed those traits because it benefits us. But when the "game" turns out to be a zero-sum game because the other person doesn't have the willingness or ability to find the win-win, then people, including you and me, pretend to be altruistic and empathetic as a way to disarm the other person. I did a video on this topic too, on morality and win-win. Let me know if I clarified your doubts, and thanks again for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it.
@@FreedomAndPeaceChris I appreciate your response and the clarification on your viewpoints. It's clear that we approach these topics from different angles, and that is fine.
